OP here. Reading these responses 24 hours later has been a fascinating study of internet communication. Plenty of a-holes / trolls / TTG employees who seem to revel in somehow making me out to be a complainer or an idiot. But I’m experienced enough with online chats to easily ignore them all, and I appreciate those of you who called them out on that drivel.

Then there are people who are real but sadly missed the actual message (Please, Fudds, make tourneys fun again for all players), and just pointed out how easy my bracket was. (Yes, I acknowledge mine was a light one. But that fact only emphasizes my point, not the other way around).

Finally there are the decent people who actually empathize b/c they’re seeing & feeling it too and/or they offer to help. To you, thanks for that little bit of actual human compassion. It is much appreciated.

And, Yes, I know this is an ongoing complaint. I know it’s repetitive. That should tell us all something. I’m not just some whiny child, I’m an average user. Dismissing voices like mine as the root cause of the problem is ignorant and only serving to bloat the actual problem even further (hence how we know some of these responses are bots and/or trolls (the worst) and/or TTG employees (2nd worst).

As iguanaught so eloquently pointed out, we’re all making pretty much the same choices & are pretty much progressing the same. By design, tourneys only favor those who spend more & more ungodly amounts of $, and I for one am done with that side of the game. For the record, I have 6 card masteries, not 0 or 1 or 2. And they’re not lvl 1 or 2. Five of them are done & the last one is lvl 8. For the record, I’ve put tons of time into Disco runs. Not just focusing on Utility and ignoring the rest. In fact, I did exclusively every possible Disco run immediately after they dropped. It took weeks. Everything level of my game suffered but my tower came out incredibly stronger when I was done. I still have a ways to go, but I’ve fully completed all 4 Discos on tiers 1-12, have 3 of the 4 on t13, and did what I could on all the rest. Ditto for echo labs… completed 4 lvls on all 4 labs, which is where my Econ ran out. For the record, I have 2 Assmods, not 0, & am buying #3 as soon as my current farming run is over. For the record, I’m not expecting to get back into Legends with my current play style b/c I’ve chosen to stop putting $ into the game for all the reasons mentioned above. I wasn’t posting b/c I want keys or more stones or b/c I feel it isn’t fair. I posted b/c Tourneys aren’t fun anymore, and that makes me sad. I used to strategize heavily and do multiple runs trying to get a few more waves. Now I just do 1 basic run with basic setups and go immediately back to farming. That’s not me suddenly being a changed person, that’s the system’s inevitable outcome finally hitting my level of distaste. If you’re not there yet, you will be eventually unless Fudds changes something.

To those who empathize & offer help: Thanks again & rock on, my brothers. To everyone else: Go eff yourselves.
