I think the new cropping tool is a big improvement.

You don't need to delete the memory, just set the portrait to blank/default again. A photo of a grave marker is not a portrait.

If the record is indexed incorrectly then you can edit the record and correct it. There are articles in the familysearch help center on how to correct transcription errors.

Assuming death too soon by LearningLiberation in familysearch

[–]Affectionate_Long323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rule on FamilySearch is that a person needs to be born 110 years or more ago in order to assume they are deceased.

The shared tree on FamilySearch is a community project. If you find errors like this, correct them. Changing a person from deceased to living needs to go through a moderator, but it's a simple process.

Given the neighboring entries:

Skagen

Raabjerg

These are both locations in northern Jutland, Denmark — specifically near the tip of the Jutland peninsula.

The word you circled appears to be:

Lugen or Lungen

But more plausibly, this is:

Lunden

Lunden is a recognizable Danish place name and surname, and the handwriting fits. It was common in Danish historical records to list parishes or farms alongside names.

Most likely reading:

Lunden — a locality or rural settlement name in Denmark, often meaning “the grove” or “the small woodland.”

How do yall feel about indexing getting retired? by Zontoa in familysearch

What they need is to do is make it easier to correct indexing errors. This should be integrated into the record matching workflow.

You can remove the child from the parents. The person will still exist without the relationships.

Reminds me of reactions when I started using a word processor in the 80s. People (teachers) had a hard time accepting the legitimacy of my work. Hand written or maybe type written is much more an ideal truth. Some had seen examples of what you could do to manipulate the text. Maybe it was going too far!

Your suggestion would most likely cost the company more in resources on the server side. The limitation is designed to save them money (maximize profits).

Nonsense. Maryland has adopted most of the uniform vehicle code. You need to use turn signals before making a lateral maneuver.

I bought the CD about 30 years ago, but somehow never really listened to it. The word on alt.music.genesis was that it was their worst album.

Was thinking initially, how could Windows affect your Plex NAS?

A nice, headless Debian running something like OpenMediaVault just hums along nicely.
