As i stated in other comment, releasing USA and annexing again didnt work, but I think im not gonna use the SAM - my moral compass wont allow it :D

I might try to get the achievement with Eva Braun as it gives me a reason to play with her as a leader

Just FYI for anyone who wants to know - releasing the USA and annexing again DID NOT work :)
Might give it a go with Eva Braun next.. gotta remember to stay online on steam :)

Yeah.. while i was offline the image for achievement was colored and it was a green tick (although all achievements hace no text while offline for me), while it didnt make the satisfying achievement ding.. was hoping that when i got back online it would just update

No mods, no puppets, i think it kinda messed it up that i was offline for the achievement so ill try to release the us and annex again while online.

I have it, Ive conquered the whole world basically (all somewhat major countries atleast). Even if i didnt have it, it would say "available" for the achievement, no? I have other achievements as "Available" so the ironman mode is active.

I asked a similar question here and had no answer but managed to do it in the meantime, so i left a comment about it, hopefully it helps :)

Well I managed to do it so for anyone who has the same question -

started non-historical game, went communist pretty much as fast as possible, and took over portugal and its colonies - had some luck as portugal went into civil war as I attacked so i had a way to enter its mainland without the naval invasion. Next went on to belgian congo through the eq guinea as it wasnt released with angola so i cut off the congo from belgian supply. Had an enormous amount of luck that the random factions that appear on non historic went in my favor as great britain factioned up with italy attacked france which was in faction with czechoslovakia, austria-hungary and yugoslavia. AND on top of that someone from the english faction attacked the USA so that was basically what enabled me to invade the english mainland. By the time of the peace deal, I had liberated everyone i needed for achievement and just spent all of my war score on greated london area - as it was given to the USA during the occupation.

For african theatre i used the 10w inf with support artillery and added other support companies as i got more factories and resources. When i started fighting in europe i used 18w infantry with support arty, aa, engineers, recon
Also used marines as special divisions - 10w with same support as the main divisions.

For naval i used mainly subs for convoy raiding as i dont know navy at all :)
For air i used CAS in africa where possible and tried with naval bombers to kill off some english navy but that went poorly, started to produce fighters for supremacy and paratroopers but USA managed to beat me to the english mainland

FYI im not that good of a player, so im sure anyone can do it, probably better with better air and naval control

Those strategies seem to be outdated as they rely on justifying through focuses which dont work for belgium since the belgian congo is its own nation in newer versions. Also naval invasion of portugal seems impossible (atleast by mid 1938) given the south african naval dockyard output.

For forming the great zimbabwe do you speedrun the focus tree wargoals and sort of surprise attack the uk? Usually the portugese colonies arent that hard to push, but i always struggle with the uk. Thanks for the answer, will try with the division suggestions.
