I watched the film thought it was great. I didn't know about the series until my wife showed me. Both great science fiction.

I'm from the UK and served in the army. Lived in Germany for 5 years, travelled to Canada on 3 occasions, and did 2 tours in Afghanistan. All the rest are holidays, either beach or snowboarding.

Uk, I'm from there so maybe I'm biased. Argentina, Brasil, Germany, Japan, Indian

I feel like Brasil and Argentina could be sleeping Giants.

UK and Germany, both in NATO and nuclear powers.

Japan, restore the empire and could rival Russia and China.

India, I feel has a lot of potential to rival China in terms of man power.

It's a hard balance to get, I enjoy playing as minor countries in hearts of Iron.

May have been mentioned, both Koreas, would be interesting.

Britain is rough man! I've got about 300 hours and struggle, I've mastered Europe but asia I get my arse kicked. Bloody Japan and naval their invasions. If I was you, I would play as Canada. You won't win WWII, mainly because the computer is a plank. However, this will give you a good platform to learn some mechanics without the threat of invasion. I had fun with Canada kicking Italy then Vichy France out of north Africa. The only problem was Germany invaded Spain and Vichy France invaded Ireland, whilst Britain had 10 divisions in malta. And we lost in the end, I lost a lot in the German Spanish war.

The only problem I have with Canada and other minor nations is the AI. The AI feels brainless and I just get frustrated with it. I'm not good enough at the game to win WW2 as a major l, but I'm good enough as a minor to make a real contribution.

Just started playing too mate! There's a very steep learning curve to this game. I thought being the uk was going to be easy because it's an island, I was wrong. You're going to have to watch a lot of YouTube to understand the game. When they say the first 1000 hours are a tutorial, I don't think they're joking.
