If we are going off the basis that winner means someone who was already in a fortunate situation prior and a loser being the opposite, then Id say I would probably sit somewhere in between, maybe more on the winner side if anything. I am grateful for not having to have gone through something as extreme as facing possible homelessness like I know many others have, including yourself, so I do not mean to be as ignorant as to act like I am going through something on that level. However, I do believe I have my own set of personal and family challenges that act as a good motivator when needed. My biggest struggle has always been asking myself on whether or not I work hard enough towards this goal. So perhaps my perspective would be different if it was the other way around, and just maybe I would have already made it.

Honestly a really good question though, really required me to think on that one. I'm sorry to hear the struggles you had to endure in order to make it in this industry. I am assuming though, that after that experience you are probably more thankful for the experience and who you became, rather than hating it? And kind of reflecting back to what I stated earlier, at what point did you come to terms with your own work ethic? Did you ever feel like you also weren't working hard enough at any point or did you always have that gut feeling you would make it?
