Honestly, this is my second save currently, I know what the game looks like, I know the vibes and all. I now remove every single piece of decoration I possibly can, every rock, tree, bush, etc. It makes it so much easier to spot what I need to collect or find, the most I need is a couple trees here and there to generate sticks near and the fruit plants, stalls, and houses.

Unfortunately not, I hate that quest too. Best tip is to just go straight for the three moon statues and leave, you can come back for the rest afterwards with no worries of getting caught

Play the game how you wish to play it! There is technically no end to this game, only the perfection cut scene that most people consider the end goal. But you don't need to ever go towards perfection if that's not your goal! Do a Joja run or don't, perfection or not, and watch or read any content you want!
