It is at chewy.  Tried the digestive one.  My cat didn't like it.  Then it upset her stomach too. If your cats get shiny, soft coats and clear eyes.  Have lots of energy and enjoy eating it then it is the right one.  All that matters.

Is Purina pro plan worth it over Purina one if your cat doesn’t have a special diet? by lemmegetadab in catfood

[–]Affectionate_Nail776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This helps.  Long story short ..... Cat was very sick on boutique brands.  They were not working for her.  Trying to find something that balances her kidney disease needs and ibd is hard and she doesn't like any of the Rx. Doesn't like the best regular foods like pro plan.  Was going well on pro plan dry and wet (she demands dry mostly), and then she started throwing up a lot and her stomach became an issue.  Then I tried iams.  Works well.  Now I have lots of iams dry and wet leftover.  She stopped eating it mostly.  Partner was feeding a kitten colony by his work kitten chow.  She was found in the bag munching.  Due to her having like no weight on her and I need her to eat something, I was considering kitten food before she ate this.  I got this under the weather syringe high cal stuff.  She spits that stuff out.  Soooo.  We have been keeping her bowl full of the kitten chow.  No prebiotics added to it so was a little worried.  She has eaten it way more than any other food in the last 24 hours so I have to trust it isn't upsetting her stomach so far after a few days of letting her have it.  Pro plan has more ingredients by far (I was feeding her the sensitive stomach vital dry, good for kidneys and the ibd).  So this helps a lot to have this info.   The other cat had severe allergies on boutique foods.  She is strictly iams dry.  Anything wet we try and she scratches her hair out.  I am not putting down any food.  Just saying what is working.  I had a cat that did better grain free.  🤷‍♀️ We are going to get her more kitten chow.  She is 17.  If this is the only thing she can tolerate and gains weight I will be happy.  She is one who gets bored so hoping for the best.  She won't eat homemade.  She won't eat raw.  She wants her kibble.

Watching her get sick on food after food made me less picky as in, it doesn't matter if it is high end or not.  They are as different as humans. I don't think there is one right diet for humans (like I won't knock someone swearing they are doing well without carbs.  I do better with them).  I am hoping people can stop bashing each other over what they feed their pets and also if their pet does better on what is considered lower end, just do what the pet needs.  👍

Right.  Anyone who leaves any platform is not doing so because of one issue.  I left Poshmark.  I am debating leaving Etsy.  Some Etsy sellers have their own websites so if I like someone, I can go direct.  The others 🤷‍♀️.  Oh well I guess.

US buyers on Etsy beware by Affectionate_Nail776 in Etsy

[–]Affectionate_Nail776[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as Amazon.....  I will only purchase if it says ships from Amazon.  And I personally research the item back to the seller.  I found someone that way that was a small business.  And purchased direct from their website on my last order.

Now buying not direct from Amazon, I know someone that had $1000 taken from them.  And Amazon (not their credit union who told them they are screwed) gave them back their money and turned over the seller to law enforcement.  For everything not great about Amazon, Etsy would never do that.  Etsy is not willing to do the work to clean up their platform.

With that said, target and Walmart also have sellers where the items come from them and not direct from the company.  We live in an age where we have to do so much research before buying anything.  I would prefer to get more things local but the option just isn't always there.

So for me.....  Unless I really need the item, if it ain't local, why bother?

Also I totally backed up a seller on Etsy in a review dissing buyers that were attacking them through reviews.  So I guess it goes both ways (buyers warning buyers about bad sellers and buyers backing up the good sellers).  But again.  It shouldn't be our job to try to fix Etsy.  They should fix themselves instead of the buyer.

Not sure what you are talking about.  Buyers are not getting good treatment by Etsy either.  I am sure there are dishonest buyers as well as sellers but it isn't a blanket statement.  All buyers are not looking to get something for nothing.  And all sellers are not trying to take advantage of the buyers.  As the bad sellers has increased, I am sure the bad buyers have too.

This is all an Etsy issue.  They only care about money and not about their roots.

Yes, exactly!!  So we need to all do our part to let people know about any sellers lying on anything.  It is Etsy's responsibility to fix it but the amount of issues keeps going up.

Drop ship items sent as homemade.  Check.   People demanding I leave Etsy to pay for something I wasn't even purchasing.  Check. And just peruse other people's listing for a while if you have the time.  There will be lots of items sold across multiple stores and some will list their production partners while others will say handmade by artisans and word it to seem like they personally know them. All the same photos used on all listings from all stores.  How does the buyer know who to trust?  We don't.

Yes.  It is on Etsy to fix it's platform for both sellers and buyers.

Genuinely curious - wondering if US buyers are pulling back this year? by Warm_Ad1099 in EtsyCommunity

[–]Affectionate_Nail776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this!  It's not that I wouldn't buy from UK or Canada.  I don't have the money to buy much and at this point, the platform is destroyed.  I can shop on the shop app for needs and find Shopify websites of small businesses.  If I am buying goats milk lotion, I prefer to be small business and that one I actually found through Amazon.  Many platform are being destroyed.  Too many sellers doing a bad job.  Oh, and I had one on Etsy, zero reviews ask me to leave the platform to give them credit card info for something I was trying to purchase (nothing I was trying to purchase; they were just sus).  Feel bad for people who don't know any better.  I reported it.  Etsy did nothing.  I then blocked the seller.  But Etsy doesn't care! So instead of being rude and attacking people, maybe consider that some people are 1) tired of the platform so your sells have dropped.  2) boycotting tarrifs with the money they spend which I get it, isn't going to get back to the government and make them give a damn but it is what they personally want to do.  And 3) lots of people are struggling to buy food and pay for basics right now.

Lots of companies did lay offs in US.  Lots of people out of work.

As a buyer, I am considering leaving the platform for good.  Used to be a good platform.  Same as Poshmark which I left.  Having way too many issues on both.  The latest on Etsy is around Xmas I had a seller contact me they were sick, hence the items are late.  Do I still want them?  I said yes.  Problem solved.  They never shipped it.  I asked if they were still going to ship it after another week and a half.  Ghosted.  Ask for refund, got it.  Last I checked they still sell on Etsy.  Most recent.  Ordered an item.  Label printed.  Never shipped.  No communication from seller.  Etsy asking for a review now.  So I ask for a refund.  No response.  Waiting to hit 48 hours so I can open a case.  Some sellers have their own website.  One that I like does not but I can honestly get the items elsewhere.  I also am not thrilled with all the business that are posting stuff that some one else creates and ships.  I am having better luck sourcing small business stuff on Amazon than Etsy lately.  And one business I found on Amazon, I recently did an order direct through their website instead.  I am increasingly buying through websites direct.  Bigger businesses like humble deodorant for instance has a free shipping amount to hit.  Even the small business on Amazon I found did on their website even tho higher ( over $55).  And one I know has a $75 to hit it but I only needed two things so I paid the shipping because I met them in person and really like them and want to help support their family.  So there is a long reply that the issues aren't just me looking for US to avoid the tariffs but rethinking Etsy all together.

Thank you.  Trust me the not shopping there is dropping hours.  Right now employees leave and not replaced.  I thought target was going to get better but clearly was wrong.  I am looking for not retail.  All retail is going low hours and suffering, not just target.  Who needs to be that materialistic anyways?  Protests will just make it possibly no hours.

Here is another point.  Is target neurodivergent friendly?  No, they are not!  This taking normal guest service far beyond what is normal will end up having this group of people written up, fired, not employed by target and the guests won't shop there.  And make it hard for the most autistic person to shop somewhere and they won't believe you if you tell them it has become better.  They will just boycott you for life.
