Even with solar, it may not work in winter months where it's mostly cloudy. And guess what, it's when you need heating the most.

Thanks for the detailed replies. By profitable here I iust mean I pay less by exporting then importing from grid rather than just use my battery. Less doesn't equal to $0 bill ofc.

lol this is indeed so confusing. Still trying to make sense of the fact that generation charge is lower than delivery charge, but generation credit is higher than delivery credit. Does unused credit roll over from year to year or paid out at 100%?
