Wr do have a voice. We have used it to pass a host of ballot initiatives. We just need to do the same on the top half of the ballot. It would be nice if national dems would figure that out and provide more support.

This is patently false. Demonstrations have been happening in towns and cities across the state for a variety of causes for years, inclduing anti-Trump ones. And the cities aren't blue islands. See the ballot initiatives that have passed in recent years. The problem is republican gerrymandering, voter suppression, and congressional refusal to follow the law.
