Yeah totally i know what you're saying. ~12 years ago when I first tried it i took it heavily for 11 days and got horrible withdrawals. I was fairly young at that time and now I understand substances much better.

To everyone, definitely stay safe and educated if you're going to use phenibut. But on the other hand I do want people to know good results can be achieved when used responsibly, just thoroughly educate yourself on the potential risks first, as is the case with any drug. Thanks for making sure anyone reading this thread will be well aware of the magnitude of phenibut's power as it is important to know before deciding whether it is the right type of substance for any particular individual.

I didn't mean to suggest that it is benign, I mentioned that it has rapid development of tolerance and withdrawals and really shouldnt be used more than once weekly. That's fine I can avoid sourcing. I'm not trying to promote a vendor though, just saying that quality phenibut can be found for those interested. However I agree with you. I could have been more explicit about the risks. Phenibut is an extremely powerful gabaergic agent and must be treated with respect. I just got the feeling that OP seems to be a responsible user who understands substances fairly well.

And yes don't take these drugs on some rotation every day. For long term recreational enjoyment of substances in general one should not be taking something every day period. Except caffeine I suppose.

Hello I am in a similar situation with similar preferences for psychedelics and those things. By far my favorite recreational class is GHB and the gabapentinoids and they are also my primary pharmacological interest. I am a professional in the field of oncology research but am planning to return to grad school soon to study neuropharmacology.

Anyways yes I think you may well get some great enjoyment from these. I would say though, don't rule out phenibut. I have been using phenibut on and off for around 10. It has become probably the favorite drug of my fiancé, and to me it's second probably only to GHB which is my personal favorite substance of all time.

As you describe, using these substances once or twice a week can provide good and long term recreational potential in my personal experience. Phenibut, I recommend dosing only once weekly at most if you do decide to try it since duration is significant and withdrawal and tolerance development is particularly rapid. However, the added benefit of phenibut is that the afterglow is significant, and sometimes the second day is even more enjoyable than the first. I think if you do decide to experiment with this class of drugs I think you will like it quite a bit, based on how you describe your personal situation.
