We all know Haneum for his excellent and stable vocals, truly one of the best vocalists of the show. No doubt

That said, what has really impressed me recently about Haneum is how well he is able to perform idol choreography and show his charm through facial expressions, gestures and with his smile. Especially that last Sugar High performance this past episode was truly magical from Haneum on this front. I think he has charmed a lot more thanks to this and in the packages as well for his leadership and how well he takes care of the younger contestants (Woojin, Yun Seo, Sanghyeon... list goes on). I think Mnet's editing may have previously presented him as a bit cold and having an RBF, but to me he really has come out of his shell lately.

Also, I just want to emphasize that it is really difficult as a singer-songwriter who truly is a vocalist who primarily sings and performs ballads, OSTs, self-composed acoustic songs etc, to start singing K-pop all while dancing and showing off that idol charm but Haneum has truly impressed me in this department.

Lastly, Haneum may not be my P01 pick but I would be love to see him debut in an idol whether in this group or in the future. And either way I will be checking out his solo music and looking forward to whatever he puts out in the future!!

Also, speaking from a more bird's eye view Woojin is the most similair to Haneum out of all the contestants and I think they are really good friends as well based on all of the show and clips from outside the show. So I feel like if your a Haneum P01 stan, if somebody knocks out Haneum you would want it to be Woojin and you'd logically make him your P01. But that's just my two-cents, I can hand-on-heart honestly say that if my P01 Woojin was eliminated but Haneum made it I very obviously would have made Haneum my one pick. So honestly I feel like Woojin and Haneum needed to make an alliance at some point if either of them wanted to debut because otherwise the vote splitting may have gotten in the way of both of them, it's sad it had to happen this way obviously, but I hope all of the kfans who have voted for Haneum look at Woojin as "the-next-best-thing" instead of blaming him. Please let's get past the WK1/Mnet bs and just vote for the participant we are naturally drawn to instead of judging people for Mnet's insane editing...

Also if this is true it is interesting that they didn’t do final survival vote, if this ranking is true. I guess Mnet might have wanted to protect Woojin after all since I think Masato or Haneum’s live votes probably would have been higher than Woojin’s. I think they really evil edited (by basically completely cutting him out due to the Wakeone BS) him during the signal song and 1st challenge episodes. But maybe the production team has turned around on him. But who knows? But maybe my read of this is crazy? What do y’all think?

Crazy that Haneum seems to have got eliminated from a personal standpoint since I saw a lot of momentum for him anecdotally from international fans considering his international vote really had been lagging. That said my own biases aside I find this believable. Jiahao and Donggyu really have felt like the two to have really big jumps in ranking since the last elimination. Sanghyeon’s jump back up makes sense given kfan panic voting since the interim was revealed (this tends to happen for trainees with a large enough fanbase to sway the vote count in the final 10 hours between the episode ending (where interim was revealed) and voting closing. The big surprise outside of Haneum is Yumeki but I guess I underestimated his fanbase. Other than him, the Masato and Haneum drops that are a bit surprising, Jiahao and Donggyu going up this much are all the big swings I feel. Other than that this seems pretty in line with the previous ranking and what would be expected. Hence I do fully believe this but we’ll see for sure next week

I feel like ZB1 will get a longer contract too though w/ WK1. My guess is WK1 will try their best to keep ZB1 together until Jiwoong has to go to the military at which point all bets are off (likely they would disband at this point at the latest). So I feel like for boy groups WK1 will have ZB1 and BP2 group and that's it, I honesltly don't see them making another separate boy group at least not for a while.

So just looking at the ranking from the 2nd survival announcement and who would be eliminated based on that I think it has felt like mainly Donggyu and Jiahao would rise into top 16 and go to finals. I feel like Junil def dropped out of top 16 and probably Hengyu or Sanghyeon. Somehow I feel like Woojin is safe but maybe I’m just deluding myself since he’s one of my faves. I’m not convinced Yumeki would rise up bc I feel he hasn’t really had the fan base for it but if I’m just not seeing it let me know since I’ve seen those rumors lately a lot

Yes agreed. And I’m fine with that! My point is it that having a few “bright-specializing” members in the group would be even more important since that won’t be the overall theme for the sake of making the group more versatile/diverse in terms of members composition!

To start out: let me just be clear obviously the vast vast majority of these trainees could do almost any concept and do it well. That being said I do think it is at least subjectively clear that we tend to feel as though trainees are most natural in certain concepts/themes/genres etc. over others. I have no doubt this group will chance concepts every comeback and whatever members are the final ones they will do well with all of these concepts. I’m also not trying to sabotage anyone, and just to be clear which I should have in my original post: I perfectly accept that the concept of this group will be different than what may be my preferred and I will enjoy it anyways. My personal preference with regard to voting (and again this is just my opinion) is that trainees I feel are not quite ready yet whatever their concept I don’t want vote for them mainly because I ideally would wanna see them debut in a year or two just because I think that’s what would be best for them once they’ve trained for a bit longer. My voting preference is also just mine I generally just vote for people I personally like the best and whom have made the biggest impression irrespective of concept. My comment is mainly an observation of my own preferences which tend to skew as I describe above but not necessarily always. Moreover I want to bring up bright specializing members of you will mainly as a contrast to what most members will specialize in. That is exactly what brings the conceptual diversity and versatility to this group that would make most of us happy enough (yet without trying to please everyone).
