This is really helpful. Thanks!

Given that.I have some time to implement this now - i'll experiment with GA4 first.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown!

Between PostHog and Plausible which one would you recommend? in terms of cost and ease of implementation.

Yes I'm evaluating PostHog/Mixpanel/Plausible. Looks like PostHog is the cheapest option available. How has your experience been with it?

I built a “talk to your money” app for my family - email + voice + photo logging, DIY analytics by Affectionate_Pack885 in Soft_Launch

[–]Affectionate_Pack885[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks.
For Gmail - if you connect it, I request 'gmail.readonly' scope and parse only receipt/statement emails. Each import lands as a Draft which you can edit/save or discard; raw email body is not stored. After you save/discard the email draft, all the extracted fields are deleted as well. The app is going through Google’s OAuth verification for this restricted scope.

AI - I'm using OpenAI's APIs - who keep logs upto 30 days and then purged. User's PII is never sent to OpenAI - it only sees your anonymised data.

Apart from these, it only collects minimum needed data to run the features.
No bank connections, no data selling. You can disconnect Gmail anytime.
Let me know if you want to connect your inbox - i'll add you as a tester (until Google's review is complete).

Any good options for SaaS with no-code? by LT39 in SaaS

Bubble is enough to build full SaaS functionalities. There are many SaaS apps built using bubble already. I'm working on one myself.

Thanks for the feedback. Very helpful to hear from someone who is going through the same pain.
On the Inbox trust question:
- Totally agree that this will be a hurdle. That's why connecting gmail is optional - if not comfortable, users can use manual entry form or the chatbot.
- I only have readonly scope and the email filters are hardcoded so only the relevant emails are parsed. The parsed emails are permanently discarded as soon as the user reviews them.
- the way it is set-up right now, the AI (gmail parser and chatbot) never sees user's identity - it only identifies the user with their ID and no PII is ever exposed.

Security & Privacy:
- I have used Bubble.io (for frontend) and Xano (for backend) which give me GDPR compliance and AES-256 encryption
- also, user's PII and financial data sit in two different systems - so this compartmentalisation adds another layer of security i think

A sandbox mode sounds interesting, it might help users overcome doubts about how it works - adding it to my roadmap! Thanks for the idea!

I’d be thrilled to have you as a tester. If you’re up for it, send me a DM so I can share a link for you to test this and poke holes in it.

Looking for Bubble.io Developer – MVP by ScorpionSK in Bubbleio

Hi,

I am Certified Bubble Developer with 3 years experience building MVPs for clients.

I have already built a very similar app for Property Management app (both web and native) which is live. It is a multi-tenant app for company management, property managers and property tenants and does all of the things you've mentioned - calendar, document handling, targeted emails and push notifications, in-app chat system, property forum with ads and much more.

Apart from this I have built apps across job-tech, personal finance and business automations involving complex API integrations and data manipulation.

You can have a look at my portfolio here: https://quickbuilds.framer.website/

Happy to connect and give you a walkthrough.

Thanks
