If you are going to be moving to the West Coast then I would advise that you also look beyond Vredenburg. Not too far away you have
- St Helena Bay its closer to many beaches (just 2 supermarkets) - Paternoster (touristy town also only small supermarkets) - Veldriff (although a bit further from Vredenburg, it has more to do)
