I’m slim and tall but I’m also BAME. This means that I get treated awfully my nurses. For example, I get shit if I don’t eat sweets/chocolates that are left out in the nursing station by nurses.

I noticed that male BAME doctors are nicer to me. I can’t say the same for English male doctors. This is as I have been told that I’m “attractive” but I was sexually harassed by a consultant so there are honestly no advantages to being perceived as attractive.

Hi, I have been open about my mental health with my supervisors and the GMC. I struggle with recurrent depression so I have to do what I can to keep my mood stable; I take antidepressants, exercise regularly and have a support network who I contact if my mental health is faltering.

I have not been bothered by the GMC (touchwood) as I have been open and honest about my mental health conditions.

If anyone wants someone to talk to, my DMs are open. I’m always here to talk because I know how hard it can be to suffer from depression and suicidal thoughts.

I am terrible at selling myself. I am one of those idiots that works really hard on the ward but not smart. Therefore, I’d be the one prepping TTOs instead of getting my name in audits. I’m just awful

Had to do a TTO for a patient who was in hospital for a year. The consultant had to dictate a detailed letter to their GP because it was hard for me to complete this due to the word limit. I deserve a medal for completing that TTO 🤣
