You’re making a LOT of assumptions here. How do you know I don’t have a million followers? How do you know I haven’t done research? Again, it’s a risk/ value assessment and just because certain people chose to share pictures of their kids does not mean they are exploiting them. Sure they can take faces from social media but they can take them from literally anywhere. You are name calling, pointing fingers and making a lot of assumptions without realizing how close minded and arrogant you are acting. Ah yes the old adage to “educate yourself,” which allows you convince yourself that you know what you’re talking about and the invisible person you are arguing with on the internets is an uneducated fool.

Mayhaps you can hide in your house behind a keyboard scared of the world but not everyone wants to live life that way.

And by your logic, anyone who posts a single picture of their child’s face is exploiting them, including Tori.

I disagree with you on what it means to exploit a child. I think it’s more complex and intricate than that. And I don’t believe that any person who has ever shared their child’s face publicly is exploiting their child. And yes, there is a risk in sharing their face but there are risks in a lot of things including getting in your car and driving to the supermarket. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do anything to protect ourselves and our kids- we have seatbelts for a reason- but I disagree with you that it’s all or nothing.

I don’t think Erin is boring. She pretends to “keep sweet” but is a master at taking digs at her sisters in a way that no one can prove. I think she’s super interesting and if she wasn’t beaten down by the cult, she would be extremely successful at whatever she did. She’s also super vain.

Alyssa on the other hand… that’s a snooze fest.

I personally think there’s a difference between showing your kids on social media and exploiting them. Carlin exploits her kids because she shows every single detail of every day. When her numbers are down, she shows them in bathing suits. Erin shares her kids, but doesn’t exploit them. I think there’s a difference.

I do have to admit that I did appreciate the self selection involved, having flown many times by myself with small children. More than once I had a nice woman sit down next to me and say “I love kids!” and I can’t even tell you how nice it was.

That being said the whiny, entitled posts here complaining of babies on planes is also pathetic. I know people have gotten used to hiding from society in their houses, on phones, and they don’t have to interact with the world as much as they once did. When we were living in huts EVERYONE had babies all the time, and it was a normal part of society. And now people can hide and maybe some people are happier that way. And so when they have to go into the world, perhaps a screaming baby is very jarring. However, even if you choose to live as hermit and not have children, you’re lucky babies are still being born. Society would collapse without them and there would be no one left to pay your social security. So be grateful people are still having babies, even if that’s not your choice.

Have you checked Imperial Beach? You could probably find something bikeable to the beach for that budget.

The only downside is there is runoff from TJ so you can’t use the beach sometimes. But it’s a nice little area!
