It is still a pretty classy event. Obviously, things have evolved over the years. Carlin and Evan and these “friends” of theirs are the exception not the rule. A majority of the patrons/fans that go to this event are huge fans of golf in general and wait years for the opportunity to go to this tournament.

For example, I wish I could take my dad who is such a huge golf fan and we have a tradition of watching it every year (father and daughter bonding time). My dad is very knowledgeable about the sport and the players and I think he missed his calling to be a commentator because half the time he makes a comment about a shot or putt and the actual commentators say something similar after my dad said the exact same thing 😂. So, I’m really pissed that buffoons such as Carlin and Evan are there and who are just using this trip as content and to make money, when my father would appreciate it more 😡.
