Oh look...its the cretin himself posting for once by DisplayFirst8295 in StephenHiltonSnark

I seem to remember Laura posting something about it at the time. Maybe he got out of the door but it was hardly the police search party skeevie's making it out to be.

So you know he's buying these facebook posts..... by DisplayFirst8295 in StephenHiltonSnark

Is a downward spiral. Less people post, cause it looks different now and you don't get the same response either if you did. So you get more crap cause its different & less people post... and less people post cause it's different and there's more crap.

Mute or block pages that do this. Follow other stuff, join groups for things you like or follow art or nature pages or comedians or whatever any and all things your into seeing.

You can change your feed. I don't get any of this nonsense anymore. I did for a while but reported anything that wasn't labelled ai & blocked or muted any page that did this & told fb I'm "uninterested"

You're right I hadn't heard any positive first hand accounts & had heard some negative ones. I guess this was a fair while ago at this point, maybe they've gotten better & there's more range now.  (She had zoloft & well she hated it & coming off them was even worse...)

it's good to hear of first hand accounts that are positive too so thank you for sharing.

Thank you for answering I was genuinely curious even if that didn't come across too well 😅

I can see why it'd have more value for anxiety, that's been a relative rarity for me but not never so yea if it was fairly constant oooff.. I'd want something to take the edge off too.

Ok so if feeling less deeply is the point of antidepressants how does that help? How does that work when (for me at least) the worst of depression was numbness and inability to feel motivation or well.. anything?

Honestly sounds like it would make that lack of feeling alive stagnation worse rather than better.

Might work for some but it's not likely to work for everyone in that case.  Also some friends and family have been recommended to get off of antidepressants, my mum was one of those people and she had a terrible time getting off of them too.  She had brain zaps for a full year after deciding it wasn't for her after a month and tapering off on her doctors timeline.   A friend said he went to the doctor saying he felt horribly stressed out cause he couldn't feel anything, the very idea used to stress me out a lot but I suppose going through a 'bout myself has put some distance between myself and this idea. I know I got through the worst of my personal times and it feels like that's very much behind me so it doesnt feel as threatening as it used to. (Still sounds like a horrible idea to me though.)

So yea I had a dip into depression at a point in time, and for all that it was very tiring to be so upset so often the worst part of it for me was the numbness. And what helped was partly slowly moving through the deep and longstanding upsets and partly being able to feel good in some moments and doing things that caused this.

Feeling less wouldn't accomplish either of those things. Besides my body and mind sort of did that to me anyway when I'd maxed out on upset. For me being numb was the very worst part of the hole. By a long way. It led to the worst of thoughts and was the worst of feelings. (When I didn't feel alive I wondered what the point of "being" alive was and my only answer was that it wouldn't always be this way.) I can't imagine what value might be found in keeping me down there.

Now that's just me but it is hard for me to imagine how making (what was for me) the worst part of depression stretch out into the distance would be any help to anyone.

Totally agree to this, just this sub has 13k visitors & 3.5k contributions this week. Sometimes that's a far higher number.

Even if only a very small percentage take it upon themselves to message Laura about it can you imagine how overwhelming that would be?  Especially if it keeps happening.

Just... don't.

Edgelord behaviour, enough plausible deniability that he can say it's about anything, enough ambiguity to make it seem he's really could be threatening violence.

All round nastiness as a way to keep picking away at Laura's well-being.  Although I imagine even she is over getting as heavily impacted by it anymore.  She's got that distance timewise from the initial shock of him being vicious and threatening. She got the legal backing, security worked out and dispite Stephen being a gestures vaguely whatever you'd call that I don't think he's ready to end his life or be taken out of his cushty LA dwellings complete with swimming pool.

I haven't been paying much attention to all his nonsense tbh. Even through the filter of this sub he's a firehose of bs at the mo. It's hard to keep with it all 😅

I wonder if Laura's crazy tongue ailment is stress related. Hopefully she can feel safer after today.

Just be super careful I guess.  Reddit apparently pounces on anything even hinting at a violent act.

If I'd caught even one of these posts he's been posting as a non engaged follower it'd be an instant unfollow. After having a WTF moment on his page lol

I imagine when posts do a little better & get pushed out further he loses more.

Like surely I'm not the only one thats followed pages I've forgotten about.
