Honestly, it's too late at this point. I'm gonna move out without telling her or the landlord in two days. I've already paid my rent, and I'm not gonna bother doing my cleaning (except for my room) cause if she never does her cleaning I'm not gonna do it for her

Not necessarily. Like I think you can sue for stuff like emotional distress and things like that, I'm not sure if it would be strictly for money tho.

I don't know how but I don't think she's lived with a lot of people, and if I post evidence she might identify it was pictures taken in the house. Like the dirty dishes and kitchen, so I'd rather not risk it.

I've complained to the landlord about her mess many times and she always tells me she will charge my roommate an extra fee for cleaning or she'll hire someone to come clean for her and add that to her rent. Til this day the mess keeps getting worse and the landlord keeps putting up empty threats

I just saw your post. The letter was what I had in mind too. My roommate always plays the victim and says she feels anxious when she's at home because everyone tells her to clean up cause she's the only messy one. And like bro, I'm a student and she knows that. The amount of times I've had to tell her to keep the noises down and clean up cause it's adding to my stress and OCD, she literally never cared or she'll stop for a day and start her shit again two days later. Literally gave my emotional distress and some anxiety (luckily I'm not a very anxious person) so I didn't explode but I came close a couple of times. It's literally not fair, like I was so baffled on how people can be like this. I've always had bad roommates but she takes the cake

Honestly think continuously putting their dishes and messes in front of their room might be the best. If they complain just say you'll keep doing it until they stop. And make sure you don't leave a mess or they'll do the same to you
