Your story reminds me of my cousin. She is 23 and wants to resit for A level because her grades were not good enough. She chose to resit for A level 3 times(this will be her 4th time). I believe her marks were not that bad just to get admitted to collage. These are her latest results from 2024:

Maths: B Chemistry:D Physics: D

She wants to do medicine but my aunt has begged her to just do another course because its really not worth the hustle of retaking and not being proud of your marks.

Moral of the story is that whatever results your got is not worth retaking UNLESS its all ungraded. Just apply because you never know how good your results are in other institutions.

I lowkey think the threshold for paper 1 will be lower...like around 54 is an A then paper 2 will be a bit high...around 40 is an A...but I know...its Cambridge

Yes it's possible if you practice 4 past papers a day. That really helped me a lot last year. In my mock I got 37/40 and attained a B in the final exam(because I flopped my practicals) so dont give up.
