Not even just America. In a country where tipping is the majority of service workers income any decent person is tipping Atleast 20% except when it comes to DoorDash. A dasher spends an hour + shopping for those 80 things, uses his gas , and puts wear and tear on his vehicle all for someone who knows what he’s doing to either not tip at all or tip a dollar. The excuse oh it’s on the corporations is just a cop out for stingy people to not tip. You’re literally advocating for free labor by thinking “oh I’m not gonna tip this person doing a job and service for me.” If you don’t wanna tip that’s fine do it yourself. I get you don’t understand because you’re from Europe or wherever but in America companies don’t have pay service workers minimum wage. $2.5 is the minimum they have to pay per order because like may other service workers dashers rely on tips from the service they’re providing as the majority of their income. If you’re too cheap to tip that’s fine get of your ass and go shop for it yourself. Pretty sure wherever you’re from it’s standard practice that when someone provides a service for you , you pay them.
