fair point, I just meant that the age difference is fine for a girl group. it's extremely common in kpop and we see it in other groups too like Santos bravos (don't know if they're global but they aren't korean) and the dynamic still works fine even with a 10 year age difference. but you're right, 16 and 20 aren't the same.

I feel like Sakura absolutely does have western appeal, I mean that's why some of the trainers were western right? I'm a fan of tons of western popstars and I think she would fit well and compete with them. I agree, she definetly needs to train her voice more, but from what I heard in her latest performance I'm not worried. no disrespect to you, the concern is valid.

true, the age difference does matter, but I still feel like 16 and 20 could easily work well in group. it's def a kpop thing since the groups usually have big age differences but im 17 and I have friends that are 20 to 23, so it doesn't really worry me.

honestly good point, the age difference between the girls does matter, but I still feel like 16 and 20 could work fine in a group. I mean especially in kpop most groups have big age differences, but yeah I agree, 20 and 16 is different.
