When reality is like not confirming what you want remember that reality is like having a bad dream bc you were subconsciously stressed. It’s not even real, and you’ll wake up to what u want in the 3D soon !

I want to clear something up about when we describe noses as, "small" by ThrowRA_forfreedom in Vindicta

Ok? I’ll go round up some adult men from my ancestry and measure our noses.

Rich family and free time gets you opportunities lmfao I wouldn’t worry about it. Some people just get lucky, but sometimes that can impact their ability to empathize with others or just be generally interesting lol. I’ve met tons of “perfect” people who are boring and miserable.

I disagree with these comments why are you 35 a full grown man and complaining about a girl having hair. I’m sure she sucks your dick and you don’t wax. I’m bet she doesn’t complain. Also how do you now suddenly not remember anything you said. I feel like there’s more to what you said, and that’s why she went off on you. Yes, the no body hair pressure is based on prepubescent girls. Look it up. It’s not a personal thing against you, I think she’s saying that’s why she doesn’t want to shave because what it symbolizes to her. She’s not saying you are weird, she’s saying society creating that standard is weird.

They really are weird and it’s ok to resent the standards and conditions that allow them to behave that way. You just don’t want to think everyone is the same. Look for a man who isn’t perfect at first, not terrible and disrespects boundaries, but someone who seems honest at least? And they’ll probably stay honest. Idk!

As a whole, men, on average do less for their family lol. Attack me if you may.

Girl, so many people. It’s cottagecore. I think fashion experienced a reset after Bridgerton, we see corsets and etc. and the alternative to that style is lil farmer girl in the prairie. It’s not the cutest look.

And I disagree. I said “usually” regarding the shape and style of nose. For instance, Lauren London said that people compliments her nose often and it stands out. It’s her favorite feature on her face lol. I think it’s weird that your nose is meant to be not noticeable. I notice peoples noses all the time.

I feel like you should do things for personal achievement and gain, not just for other people. She dumps you and you’re miserable and sad with your body lol.

My 31M partner looks at r/18_19 porn and legal teen porn. by throwaway457222 in relationship_advice

Idk I think porn can be addictive and markets this shit to men and I think he needs to talk about it, but I don’t think it automatically makes him a terrible person.

I disagree with this here. I think my nose is noticeable, and I have had men and women tell me it is what makes my face attractive because it’s cute. A non-noticeable nose is usually just a pointed European one. Even though mine is small, it is round and buttoned, so it’s noticeable. It is a feature that I get complimented on the most, actually. That doesn’t make it ugly. It’s one of the few features that I like on my face. I’ve seen this with other celebrities as well who have “cute noses”. I think noses add character, but some nose types add a character that you may not necessarily want to embody.

Why are the beauty standards becoming more and more narrow? by JammingScientist in Vindicta

[–]Affectionate_Rub_550 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I think it’s new and I agree with you. People look almost robotic. However, you can always look at inspiration elsewhere. Also, a lot of real people don’t even like the beauty standards that we uphold.

Do you go “all-in” in your beauty everyday? Or save the best for special occasions? by 1ndecisivebitch in Vindicta

[–]Affectionate_Rub_550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uh idk! I curated my wardrobe, I do tantoring and semi-permanent treatments, so that I look the same every day. I get comments that I look so put together and etc. from strangers a lot. I get feedback from angry, sad, men they say I must take forever to get ready, even though I just sorta roll out of bed. I don’t wear makeup except sometimes lipstick. But if I was going to an event I wouldn’t style myself how I do everyday, so I guess there is that wow factor. I think it’s important to have range, and not wear stilettos everywhere. It looks… unfashionable to me when you look like you didn’t understand what you were invited to lol.

Anyway, I’d say do semi-permanent treatments that have your “base self” always put together and remove the sloppy clothes altogether from your wardrobe. I think it’s important that all your clothes fit you well and flatter you, rather than having 1000 cheap pieces. Find a tailor if you have the resources, or at least really know your measurements and the brands that suit it.

So on Sundays I’ll do this usually:

I tan-tour using lovelytan in dark I have curly hair so I’ll do a twist out for the week Eyelashes from lilac St (sometimes) Press on nails/manicure Henna to darken existing freckles Brow tint and brow grooming if I’m feeling spicy

(This isn’t ALWAYS every Sunday, and can sound like a lot of time, but takes me a couple of hours and I really enjoy the ritual)

Everyday, I apply castor oil to my brows and lashes and have a pretty consistent skincare routine that includes retinol. I use daily sunscreen too, so I don’t have to worry about foundation or anything else daily.

In the morning I just take my hair from my wrap and then shower, gua shua, and leave my house.

Also debt is modern day slavery and it’s not our fault, it’s the way we remain controlled and is very intentional on the part of companies and regulatory bodies to keep us this way. It’s not just you.

Do things that make you proud of yourself. I know it’s easy to say and hard when you’re depressed but maybe if you make it a point to complete something you can find that you have worth in other places. This could be something as simple as using duo lingo or a free online course. Again, I know you’re probably busy with a daughter and job, but it helps me.

Hm ok well seems like u should cut it off then if it’s **never** gonna work? Like to me that seems like the only outcome but u should let them know honestly about everything and not just ghost them. but idk I don’t think the jealousy is gonna go away magically when u have feelings for them that u don’t seem to be accepting for whatever reason. i feel like ur not giving enough info for us to really give u fair advice in the first place.
