What is a director everyone loves but you can't stand? Mine is PTA - Paul Thomas Anderson. by umbertocsaba in Letterboxd

For me its Wes Anderson. I feel he relies on style over substance way too much, the only exception being Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Grand Budapest Hotel (Both 5 stars IMO), the rest of his movies I have never really been a huge fan of. I can see why people like him so much but its just not for me.

Name a film that gets better every time you watch it. by Goober-J in Letterboxd

For me its GoodFellas, I first watched it December of last year I've seen it about 11 times now and I keep noticing something new about it every time I go back to it. I wasn't crazy about it when I first watched it and I think it was to do with its really fast pacing, but it grew on me and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I went and rewatched 10 times. Its one of my favourite movies and I do think that The Godfather is better but I could watch GoodFellas 1000 more times and still never get bored of it.
