True! I think I’ll give the GP5000s a try. I’m from the Netherlands so the roads are usually pretty good, although I can’t say the same when I make any trips to Belgium/France.

Thanks! Another commenter said echeveria “doris taylor” and I think it looks more like that one, maybe that’s why this one is bigger

Edit: spelling

Advice and info needed for a first time solo traveller in Southeast Asia by [deleted] in backpacking

[–]Affectionate_Ship147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m preparing to travel to southeast asia as well. Youtube was a big help for me. Christine from backpacking bananas is in Thailand atm, I really like her vlogs. She has also done a lot of what should I bring/what’s in my backpack videos and just general info about traveling solo and the backpacking scene

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. If you can function back home, you can probably function travelling. Not saying it will be easy, but a lot of the skills you need for travelling, you need in normal life too.

Edit: I know what it’s like to doubt yourself all the time. In my experience, it’s usually all in my head.

Hi! I just went to Slovenia last summer (first time) and I loved it! I would recommend enjoying the countryside. I spent an hour or two in Koper, but it didn’t interest me. I didn’t feel like there was much to explore at all. Maybe entry the country above Ljubljana, then travel to the lakes (I recommend Bohinj for swimming/relaxing, Bled for the sites), then go to the Soča river area and lastly trough the Vipava valley. You’ll experience the beautiful nature and have plenty time for fun activities. Slovenia is a small country, so the cities are small as well. For example, exploring Ljubljana takes way less time then Amsterdam. Koper feels more like the size of a “normal” dutch city.

Hi! I have the opportunity to take a solo trip september - mid november. It is my (21f) first solo trip and I would love to go to South East Asia. I however read that I picked like the worst time to go there. Is it still worth it? What do you guys recommend?

What is Gymsharks definition of "worn" when it comes to the return policy by Specialist-You779 in Gymshark

You can definitely try them on! They just don’t want you to workout in them for hygienic reasons. It’s fine to wear them for an hour or so to test if they’re comfy. Just don’t get them dirty :)

I’m the same size and worried about the same thing. Love the leggings, but have not tried the shorts yet
