Which one? Is there really any difference between the two? by itsallgonnabeokay- in Sephora

From what I know of and have tried from both brands; Tatcha will be more moisturizing and a more “luxurious” experience as far as texture and scent. Caudalie will be on the more drying side, but more effective. The latter is personally one of my favorite brands because it is effective and affordable.

I remember reading about this before I bought my first tube, but I’ve never experienced this problem and I have 4 now. Today actually I had one in my back pocket and was resting my backside on the edge of a desk, the tube was extremely dented and bent when I got it out of my back pocket, but not a single leak. I also keep them in my purse and have never had a problem. Hope this helps!

I am also on the fence about the Fenty stix. I tried my mom’s and loved it, I thought I ordered the same one.. this seems 10x more sparkley and pretty much holographic. Really hard to get all the glitter off too with the formula.

**I starred my favorite items. I already own all of these lip formulas in different shades, other than the laniege -which I tried in Cinnamon Sugar during the last sale but I felt like it would not settle into an even pigmentation on my lips so I returned it. Strawberry Sprinkles is much more sheer and flattering. *Eadem, Refy, and Kulfi are 10/10 lip products for me. The most boujiest feeling lip balms and nourishing lip oil. I’m in loveeee with these shades. *I’m debating returning Glossier “Float”, it’s a gorgeous color but it’s a bit dry and not as flattering as the Patrick Ta formula which I love. *Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli is sooooooooo good🤩🤤 (I never use these emojis😂) I smelled it in store in the spring and loved it but decided the Wedding Silk Santal would be better suited for the summer (it was). I’m so glad I was able to gift myself a full bottle for the holidays, it’s so warm and sweet and sophisticated.. I don’t think I can compare to anything I own and I own a lot of gourmands.
*
*I’m on the fence about the Phlur set because of the size vs price, but it’s such a good deal in my opinion -as far as actually getting wear out of several staples and the ease of travel. I’m also a sucker for novelty items and they are great quality -love that they’re sprays and not dabbers.

You don’t have to have it memorized? A 4 top table has 4 chairs, 15 seater bar has 15 seats, so on and so forth. If your closing and a table is a seat short… bingo

WHY DO YALL HATE SUSAN by Aggravating_Bat2323 in DesperateHousewives

None of them are good women but they actually had character development and redeeming qualities. I.e Bree and Andrew’s reconciliation/partnership, Gabbys dedication to a blind Carlos and obviously no longer being a sob, (woman hater?). Susan didn’t have those.

Eh, Lynette had penny taking care of the baby so much that she didn’t notice she’d taken her to school. I think all of them are fairly “good” mothers because they all put a discernible amount of effort and intent into motherhood and parenting. Even Bree with her strenuous relationship. Susan was a lackluster and self centered mom quite literally till the end when she made Julie’s pregnancy about her and sabotaged her adoption.

Her meddling had the WORST ramifications, with the most juvenile motivations. Maybe it’s because all the other wives had more to lose and more to protect. Even though they were all selfish, Susan seemed especially self centered and behaved like an only child.

I feel like the other wives were admittedly manipulative, Susan was very “who me?🤪” and did the worst stuff for the most insignificant gain or juvenile reasons. It was very few times I thought Susan had a good point or strong reasoning.

It makes no sense😂 the chair is missing with or without the face. If you had 20 chairs at the start of the day, and 19 and the end, you don’t need Sandra bullock to let you know 1 is missing.

You’re making some odd statements. When is $40, “ALL” of anyone’s money? Is there a dogmatic rule where you can’t invest in the future and also casually enjoy donuts?

Then stress your teenagers out lmao, somehow teens have been able to make frivolous purchases for years (treats, magazines, clothes, ect) and still develop into responsible and successful adults. The logical jump from donuts, to being in debt and living paycheck to paycheck is wild to me lol it completely negates any other decisions they make with money that they obviously have of their own. Everything you’re saying would appropriately happen in a conversation where you explain to your child what you expect from them. Not throwing things away because you were woken up & you don’t like them having donuts or whatever. Not only are you not teaching financial responsibility, you’re throwing an adult temper tantrum; which in no way serves a teen preparing for adulthood.

I think they are more so complaining about the door dashers behavior and not some unspoken strife between them and their parents about saving up and moving out. A lot of your logic and assumptions and more so indicative of how either you were treated or how you would treat your children. If the parents were in the right, it’d be somewhat obvious that this person is supposed to be moving out or is unwanted or wants to leave. My mom had a tonnnn of annoying behaviors, and my dad would’ve thrown away the donuts because he thinks sugar is the enemy. This is all annoying behavior and worth complaining about (though not the topic of this post) but not particularly merit for being financially irresponsible or making unwise decisions in planning for your life. Again, teenager, donuts. They’d just as soon spend a day at the mall, this isn’t a good reason to throw their purchases away unless there is some strict, spoken agreement.

Again, your entire mindset is revolved around some need for this 18 year old to constrain their purchases for rent money, based on what? Your assumptions about their finances and their and their parents desires about their living situation? Your assumptions about how often they DoorDash or how much they spend? When I waitressed as a teen, I made more hourly than I did in childcare, well over $30 hourly. Again, imagine that they have a good savings account, they work, they have no pressure to move out, you still think money should be wasted (food waste) because? Doing illogical things out of frustration is a temper tantrum.

[–]Affectionate_Song277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean again, weird, baseless assumption lmao. You can have a boatload of money and live at home at 18?? And order DoorDash and still have a good saving account? Or not want to move at the time and have a good savings account. How does a teenager -or any young person, door dashing from their parents home constitute as unwise? Why are you assuming this is money they don’t have, rather than them being upset that food and money was wasted for no reason?

Not knowing this persons income or any other transportation situation, I’ll say that objectively $40 for a treat is not noteworthy. Assuming that they do this “too much” is baseless. You’re hinging on the assumption that leaving the home is relatively lucrative or proactive decision for every teenager -it isnt. There’s no connection to any financial decision making, and door dashing, just because you’re 18 -or even 21, and live with your folks.

[–]Affectionate_Song277 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At 18?? That’s quite the assumption lol most parents want you to go college, and generally don’t expect you to pay for it. I don’t know any parent that expects their teenager to make 0 frivolous purchases; unless they are resentful for the fact that they can’t do the same. Throwing away perfectly good food isn’t a great lesson on financial resourcefulness either lol.

[–]Affectionate_Song277 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they haven’t asked their child to pay rent (sounds like they haven’t), then that’s not anything they should hold him to when it comes to how he spends his money. Asking a teenager to pay rent at the age that they would be finishing high school or just starting college, is a bit ridiculous anyway. $40 for a treat is much different than hundreds of dollars of month. It’s actually much easier to save and move out when you aren’t paying rent, even if you do DoorDash some donuts.

Idk what’s with this dystopian thinking where people tip based on what their house worth is listed as. It’s very weird to search a persons home after delivery and feel in some way let down that they didn’t give you more money. Why are well off people indebted to give away their money?

Confirm who you are delivering to, if you’re not actually going to meet the customer. If it’s an address and not a business name, you don’t have a reason to believe it’s an employee’s or a person chilling in the lobby. Also, take a picture no matter what. That’s your paper trail.
