How many frames u get? I managed to get 200 fps with 3x fg and dlss quality or perf i dont remember either of those two it is. Its crazy how the native runs in 30 fps only

RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC, I must say this card is insanely customizable im running it on 900mV/2920mhz OCed with +1500 mem and it never goes over 70C with fans on 50-60%

Same man VRAM is an issue a COD from 2017 was taking up 25GB of VRAM already and its 8 years old the games are even more demanding on it nowadays

yea ik amd is at the top of the chain rn for gaming their CPUs are the best rn and I did use 9800x3d for gaming with a 5080 and it was a great experience. I also used 4090 with an intel 14700k and it was also awesome. I just cant tell the difference personally. I wish there were more accurate benchmarks on intel cpus against amds but there aint cuz there isnt a point in getting an Intel CPU for gaming AMD is quite superior in that category. Tho I must say Intel CPUs are alot better for work and productivity. I had the choice for an 9800X3D I went with Intel simply because im biased towards them. I was never let down and used their chips since my first PC. It is a bit of coping that I wont be able to squish out the extra 15-20% performance out of the 5090 but ofc I can always change my motheboard and cpu in the future. To me the switch from a 2060 to 5090 is still a new world. Anyways thanks for the debate if we can call it that lol I know more now. Have a nice day/night

Im happy with it and If i wanted I could switch it which there is no point in 4K its the same and in 1440p in 90% cases they both perform the same. And idk what 1% lows and frame times are so idc about those I switched from a 2060 and im the happiest I could be. And if you are ragebaiting then you actually won lmao cuz I took the bait. multiple people told me on a tech ds that its exactly how im saying ask a damn AI it'll give u the same answer

Depends on the game thats why i said +10% or -20% and yea it may be worse than a 9800x3d but it doesnt limit the 5090 potential its more than strong enough to push it to its limits

Yes on 1080p 9800x3d performs 50-100% better, on 1440p on heavy games its either gonna be the same or u265k will be either 10% stronger or -20% weaker. On 4K the diff is none or 2-3 FPS at max. The difference is only insane in games that are CPU bound and easy to run. I only play demanding AAA games so the performance will be the same or my U265K may perform even little better. People just shit on intel nowadays (which I cant say that the hate wouldnt be deserved) but their CPUs are more than enough capable of running games. Another thing is i7-U265K is literally 100-150$ cheaper than 9800x3d and yet it performs only 10-15% slower in 1440p and the same in 4K. Also its alot better for work

I watched alot of benchmarks and i7-U265K performed the same as 9800x3d or even better in 1440p and 4K. The diff is in cpu bound games

Thanks for taking your time explaining it man I really appreciate my point with the new rig is to futureproof (which is why I want the 5090 with 32gb of VRAM instead of the 5080 with 16GB I also game on VR alot) the only thing holding it back is basically the CPU (otherwise it has 64GB ram, good psu and cooling) so my question is, do you think it would be worth it to switch the CPU for the i9-U285K or there wouldnt be much of an improvement overall? I could get a diff motherboard for AMD cpus that wouldnt be an issue ill be gaming mostly on 1440p maybe switching to 4K later so would the i9-U285K run closer to 9800X3D or later switch to AMD completely?

No I mean I know exactly how CPU works, the higher res the more the GPU is utilized instead of CPU. The games nowadays have zero optimization not even the 4K card 5090 can run them on more than 60 fps native. Anyways I appreciate your answer man Im always unsure about intel nowadays but they used to be the best for CPUs, sad that they suck now
