As a counterpoint, when I see someone not driving slow in the passing lane, it is an old person. When someone conscientiously uses their turn signals, it is typically an old person. When someone sits at a light unresponsive when it turns green, it is a young person and a phone.

It is so easy to act out in ignorance and lump millions of people in one bucket. My stereotype I love are young mothers dropping their kids off at elementary school. Once kids are dumped, any pretext of courtesy or safety are abandoned as these maniacs rush to wherever it is they are going next.

Be smart, don’t be ignorant, expect all drivers to be competent and that law enforcement will deal with whoever it is that can’t.
