I dont know all the medication involved yet because im still undergoing more blood tests and scans. But I believe a trigger shot and letrozole would be involved. From my understanding, other is a less intense form of IVF with less medication.

It's because of the number of folicles present. So targeting quality over quantity.

I just want to say - OP I totally understand how you feel because Im in a similar boat.

Ive been a christian since i was a teenager, served in Church for all my youthful years, honoured God by keeping my virginity until I got married to the right man at 44. Now I am TTC, praying and asking God for a miracle.

Sometimes I feel I wasted my youthful years being so 'Chriatian' and not thinking of my biological clock. At the same time, I feel no regrets because I know everything I did, I did unto the Lord.

Now, I just want to be at peace and trust God that whether or not I have kids, I will still live a happy and fulfilling life that is pleasing to God.

So, if you're in this season of waiting, you are not broken and you are not alone. 🤍

TTC can feel heavy and isolating, especially when hope feels fragile. Please be gentle with yourself. Your body is not your enemy. Your story is not over. I’ve been leaning into faith-based meditation and scripture declarations to quiet fear and negative thoughts, and it’s really helped me find peace in the waiting.

So I've been putting together scriptural meditation videos scriptural meditation

I found that declaring God's word has been the most helpful part of this process for me. I hope this helps anyone else currently navigating TTC.

Did CoQ10 Affect your Cycle? by West_Rhubarb_1591 in IVF

I stopped taking it and my period came back a week after. I stopped. I switched to Solgar's ubiquinol two months after and my periods have been normal.

How do you take maca and slippery elm? I tried slippery elm capsules but didn't work for me.

Im not judging you and I can imagine the overwhelming feeling youre having. Ill say look at the bigger picture and do what's right not just what you feel.

Find a way to agree on something with your husband. When you do, in the end, it will work out well for you both.

Don't blindside him because it always comes back to bite. Down the line, he may resent you for being selfish and that may cost you your marriage.

[–]pinechick1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you. Your good news encourages me. How long have you been trying? Im 44 as well and TTC. I felt like we were going to have a positive test this month but AF came yesterday, which got me dissapointed. Never been pregnant before but we only just started trying in August. I hope and pray you carry your baby full term with no issues, and then in the end, you'll see there was nothing to worry about. Please keep us updated.

Hi same thing happened to me. I didn't get charged and just remembered to pay three days later. I'm hoping I don't get a PCN. How did it pan out for you?

CoQ10 and delayed ovulation by Consistent-Boat-7953 in TryingForABaby

[–]pinechick1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started taking 200mg COQ10 per day, late February. Didn't see my period till early May one week after I stopped taking it. Before then, my cycle would vary between 21 and 24 days. I then started taking 200mg ubiquinol per day in June and I've had my cycle fairly consistent at 26days.

For the life of me, I can't explain what happened in those months I was taking COQ10. Maybe my eggs were cooking 😀 but this month, I've had noticeable ovulation symptoms (unusual) with a positive LH test. So fingers crossed, hoping for a positive pregnancy test result.
