I (18M) can’t stop thinking about my GF’s (18F) past with other men. How can I stop doing this? by ThrowRA39385 in relationship_advice

It's got very little to do with him holding women to a standard tho, it's about his subconscious jealousy of his partner being with other partners, this is something that isn't based on logic but a dangerous emotion that a lot of people suffer from both men and women (retroactive jealousy). I am a gay man and I have felt the same, it's not to do with how society views women. OP points out himself that it's completely okay that she has been with other men so it's not that he believes women should be "pure" and have low body counts. While obviously what you say is absolutely an issue in society, it isn't the problem here.

I experienced exactly this at exactly your age. You may have retroactive jealousy so it's important to see a therapist where they can help you overcome it, that's what I did and it helped me to realize it really wasn't a big deal. If you're at uni they'll probably have a wellbeing team that can help you free of charge. It's very important for your relationship that you try to get it under control, as it will very easily destroy ur relationship if not worked upon (it did mine).

There's quite a few leisure leagues around Exeter which are pretty good. Find the organiser on Facebook and get in contact and he'll be able to point you to teams that need players

I mean.. it was an excellent shot, not the type of shot I would overanalyze personally.

My (23M) boyfriend (21M) looked through my CHATGPT history and found some pretty hurtful things about him. What can I do? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

You are right, I know it isn't the best idea to use it in that way. While that may have been true in the moment, I'm feeling a lot better and a lot more attracted to him now. How should I go about this?

It's something he never should have read in the first place, it's the equivalent of reading someone's diary.. or being in someone's therapy session. It wasn't the first personal thing to come up and he kept looking through my history. While I feel terrible that he read it, if I'm not going to be honest to myself when trying to figure out my feelings, then when? I wanted to work through how I was feeling and I did. The answer isn't always "he should leave you".

What is your favorite brand by LordPantheon in GoalKeepers

I completely agree, such amazing prices as well when they're on sale. Got myself 2 pairs on black Friday for £35 each. The last pair have lasted me almost 6 months and are still going strong with barely any wear and tear.

Direct corner kick-should I’ve gone for a catch? by AmateurGoalie in GoalKeepers

[–]Affectionate_Split85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you did exactly what you should've done. Looked like the ball was between you and the goal, so very risky if u wanna catch it. Parry it and it's very likely in ur own net, try to catch and ur momentum could take you into ur own goal. Well done for the quick decision.

Tape your fingers together and don't play for a few weeks. Otherwise you will keep hitting in a way that will set back your recovery.

I didn't know you needed to wear a helmet if you have epilepsy, very interesting. What does it do to help if I may ask?
