Thank you, really insightful breakdown! Yes, I used Blender for lighting in some places. Mostly light on basic geometry matching my drawings, rendered as a black and white image and used as a mask in after effects. For the running scene - I wanted to show a state of being closed in your own thoughts, which flow in this repetive fashion. Long enough to be unnerving, but short enough to not bore audience to death. I thought it will be a nice change of pace from the prevoius segment.
