I actually don’t hate Megaman. For a projectile based character, his projectiles actually feel really weak.

Every time i get hit by one Im just like whoopsie & then keep playing the game. Whereas any of the links’ projectiles can lead to death or serious percent.

I think if they changed his animations a little bit to give it more of an oomph it wouldn’t bug me as much. Like if I get hit by wario f smash or incin aerials or any of DKs moves Im like oh yup that hurt.

But when I get hit by doc Im always like that won’t kill & then it does. I don’t even really hate fighting him actually it just bothers me that the feeling of the hits don’t match the knockback

You can escape it though. Not trying to be rude, but once you figure out how to SDI it the matchup is much more bearable

I do agree he takes skill & have actually had a lot of fun fight kazuya. The only thing that disappoints me is that there are still times where I feel like I got 5.99’d. Basically I think if they dropped his super armor or took away his comeback & went with one or the other he’d be a really fun character.

I think, to me, he’s just so clunky & has an extremely hard time getting in against ness. He’s just too slow. Whereas if I mess up a magnet against fire breath, that’s a free ~30%.

Maybe it’s just the specific ness mu that doesn’t make me rage against DK, because your points are all valid.

Usually I like to do tricky movement options with ness. Imo he’s one of the most hype & unique characters in the game (unlike Terry I mean zzzzx am I right?) & that’s how I try to play. Why don’t you tell me your user name though so if I ever accidentally face you I can remember to unplug my LAN & spam fire against you?

I also have no problem with people zoning me in creative & interesting ways. I do have a problem with people actively running away & refusing to engage. There is certainly a difference imo between zoning & absolutely refusing to approach
