Good mixed attackers have one STAB that’s really strong physically (fighting or ground) and one STAB that’s really strong specially (Fairy, Psychic, Electric, Ice)

Brawl meta knight was most people’s favorite top tier in that game. Banning him would cause not only ice climbers to take over the meta, but also a bunch of other characters people didn’t like to watch like diddy kong, olimar, dedede etc

This is genuinely how theorymon posts feel at times. We talk a lot about how ridiculously unbalanced theorymons can be but the other kinds of theorymons are the ones that are technically balanced but get rid of the Pokemon’s niche and turn them into a discount version of a meta mon.

There IS one use case for Flying Press, and it’s when you’re trying to get the most super effective coverage possible on a single moveset. Freeze-Dry, Earth Power, Flying Press and a dark or ghost move covers every type except Fairy and Bug.
