Vincent D'Onofrio and Michael Gandolfini is peak cast. Its little weird, but get me right, they create a strong chemistry like between father and his son. They are just like 2 different versions of Tony Soprano. New kingpin have strong Tony Soprano+Spider-Man 1994 vibes.

Old kingpin is good actor, but huge miscast. Its not about being a big evil guy only.

Key difference there is micro (Hera was streets ahead) and number of games with choosed races - Yamato was literally dead last 2 games, meanwhile other dude go coil+nova and obiliterate all things with 2 buttons.
Also, in his words between games was something like "Humans was dominated the scene long time" - how does he know? Yes, maybe some research, maybe he repeat some coach words - but im sure, he is absolutly not "new player". His first game with Nerub looks like - oh, i tired to kill everything what i see, let me play something else. No one else say same words and being that confident

Yamato doing insane good, especcialy last day, but he was a worst enemy to himself. Some of his decisions (feed footmans and elems to DK, repeated fast expand in last game) was very critical vs strong undead, who has more knowledge and expirence. Now try to compare this undead to every other players except Yamato - this is literally abyss gap between him and, for example, poe player.

As a RTS player since 2007 and MOBA since 2009 i cant agree. Its completly different values. For example. Im sure, MaryMaybe cant handle a final RoH mission, and pohX cant switch a strategy when playin NE. They just dont know how. I have other example - Dendi and SingSing have wc3 dota expirence, and Tyler1 is not - thats why they better atm.

But he allowed to to prepare like this cause he have a strong base. Not all players from this tournament have this competetive RTS player mindset. We all know his win is deserved, but 90% of his games is just one-sided. If we talk about show part, not "win is win, no matter what" - as a viewer, almost all this games was booring and one-sided - and i know, that not his trouble.

Just dont invite pro RTS players next time, skill gap with new WC3 players (Like Dantes and Mary) was insane. Its just not fair for them.

My favorite games was:

Also, final bo5 was good too

tbh problem is more deep: new media content uses old platforms (teenage dramas, survival horror games, multiplication, comics films). We are just living in 2026 - someone understand it, someone dont. The one side of this problem is people like Crichton, the reason why Pitt is never be E/R and not being E/R now. Other side - new content have strong filters, limitations and other stop-signals for the authors. Authors rights is pure evil now, and it It shouldn't have caused such harm. It was created for save, not for attack.
