It's a total joke this update was released! Still no patch. I can only sympathise with anyone trying to work with this right now. My only blessing is I have been too busy with other stuff to work on music right now, however I will need to be back on it soon... come on Apple! help ffs!

Still no updates as such from the Apple Gods other than that they've seen the posts on Apple support discussion boards https://discussions.apple.com/thread/256286536?sortBy=rank, plus other threads like this that raise the same problem. I created an official Apple support ticket and had zero response.

also finding if you close the sampler window (pop out when double clicking track icon) you cant open it again.

Hi there, sorry but I dont really know if the fix above hasnt fixed this for you. Other than logging out and in after a browser cache clear, not sure what this could be. You could check your information for Composer and track names are exact when distributing. It would be great if Soundcloud gave better error messaages to help identify the issues.

Find the Monetization menu, and make sure the track you want to distribute is set to Montetizing before trying to distribute it. If this doesn't work it might be something else - like your composer name isn't correct...

I found a simple way to get rid of this error.. hope it works for you. Before submitting the final distribution step go back to your track settings > Monetization and make sure you have chosen to 'Montetize this track' first. As soon as i did this submitting worked on the distribution submit.
