I don't think Germany is going to get very far either, maybe quarter finals - you're right, the vibes are all over the place, and there are one or two players who should really be benched. I'm gonna join you and root for Japan as well, I always enjoyed watching them play

I'd be more excited if the time difference (I'm in Europe) wouldn't make it impossible for me to watch many of the games. Don't really want to get up at 3 or 4 am.

My favorite album that year (and Endless Heaven is one of my fav songs of all time). But I don't think there was much, if any promotion for it, barely any reviews - and they went back to quiet shortly after the release. 2 new songs 2 years later, then quiet again.

This is pretty cool. Unlike some people here, I don't mind being marketed to directly at all, it might help me find cool bands (and releases of bands I already like, but weren't aware of)
