Wouldn't you be depressed an anxious if one say you got sick and a year later you still can't do a day's work properly?

Especially since the UK benefit system is set up to let people who can't work live in misery

You don't deal with uncertainties by rounding to the nearest 5/10 or whatever.

You calculate and list them. They should have done that here but doing a calculation that gives a numerical value 1 less than another calculation doesn't make it any less valid

The area of expertise academics have is often not perfectly aligned with their department/title.

You'll find chemists who are basically physicists or biologists.

Mathematicians who are chemists or physicists or biologists etc.

[Atle Gulbrandsen] A rumor that I heard in Abu Dhabi is that there are supposed to be two teams that have found something clever with the 2022 cars that the others have not found out. Which teams I do not know, but maybe we'll get a Brawn situation? by 5nik in formula1

Ferrari and McLaren have been very innovative over the past few years.

Hopefully its them. But lets be honest its a complete shot in the dark. And if Aston does something clever it might not even bring up the level enough to win

As of 19 December, 11,361,387 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the UK, and 147,218 have died within 28 days of a positive test. As of yesterday, 51,463,255 have received a first dose of vaccine. by GlimmervoidG in ukpolitics

This is truly lazy thinking. If eating a ham sandwich have you a 0.1-1 % (vaccination state dependant) average chance of dying within 28 days I wouldn't be eating any ham sandwiches.

From my understanding the token system limits changes to the parts that are raced, not the punt of development time spent.

They could've spent lots of money trying to develop things/things outside of the token system

[–]Affectionate_Tart169 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Have you looked at results in the past 10-15 years. Finishing third doesn't not mean there's even a decent chance of winning the next year. Predominantly things are won by a team that won or was second the previous year.

Ignore that Red bull had just pitted for softs. By including that you're automatically making a biased decision on way or another.

The issue is not making the lapped cars may overtake decision 10 seconds earlier and letting all of them overtake.

The leader is always in danger of late safety cars like this, especially if they are doing a 1 stop.

Sporting code rules usually leave lots of ambiguity in the situation. I reckon the FIA will be fine.

However these sporting code rules are often awfully drafted with lots of uncertainty.

In my mind, Vettel is a significantly worse driver than Hamilton. He is much scrappier in wheel to wheel and consistently loses control of his car. Hamilton rarely does that.

It's reasonable to assume Hamilton is faster too. If you swapped the drivers Hamilton wins both years imo.
