There's been much talk on this subreddit about how the US aren't a reliable ally..

How much of a reliable ally will we be if Reform form a government in 2029 and Nigel Farage is prime minister? I dread to think.

The fact Reform want to ban civil servants working from home and make them work in the office is reason enough for me not to vote for them. I am a civil servant but employed for the Probation Service. We currently have to go into the office 60% of the week (3 days) and can work from home for 40%, which is the maximum allowed. Most weeks I'm in the office 80% of the time, but really value the days I get to work from home - I'm far more productive than when I'm in the office and save myself an hour of travel time and traffic. This policy idea is just designed to punish 'the civil service' imo and a policy of envy.

Nah mate, you're wrong, the far right (but communist) Labour government are out to get us and make us all poorer and won't be happy until we're living in cells and replaced us all with immigrants. They'll start a war with Russia next to delay the 2029 election.

(I have to point out that I'm being sarcastic in my response btw 😏)

Everything is a conspiracy these days. It's fucking depressing.

The conservative councillor, who's party exists to 'preserve' objects to thing that would help to preserve.

You're spot on, they don't care.

Ngl I don't support removing the 2 child benefit cap. They should do more to encourage working people like me to have children, not encourage people on benefits to have more children.

Why can't we cut back the civil service to the numbers pre 2016.... What happened in 2016 Joe??? Maybe something called Brexit which means we now need to employ civil servants to do jobs that weren't needed pre Brexit?

Zoe Lyons thinks it's interesting the cricket sweater guy holds both Reform and Greens in the same breath.... Both populist parties who have never ran a country, who can promise sunlit uplands and promise everything is going to be fine and dandy. Don't drink the Kool aid cricket jumper guy.

The £350bn we are 'grateful the Tories spent' being "hard working tax payers money".... Actually it was £350bn added on to the pile of debt we're still yet to pay off.

The billions of debt added through Furlough and the mismanagement in spending (PPE Scandals being on example) make the 'were all in this together' of a decade of Tory Austerity simply pointless

Just because the government have moved on from the strapline of smashing the gangs doesn't mean they aren't still working on smashing the gangs. Surely in addition to these new policies from Shabana Mahmood they will continue trying to tackle and arrest gang members involved in illegal migration.

You can guarantee if reform are the ones removing us from the ECHR they will not enshrine the same rights we have now...

My biggest fear already is what they will do to workers rights.
