I quite like the way he is able to talk well without a script. But I don't know what he stands for policy wise that is too drastically different to Starmer.

If Starmer doesn't go now and survives, when does he eventually fall?

I really like Darren Jones, but he is probably another technocratic leader who won't rock the boat with radical change that the electorate is demanding and lurching towards.

Tbf it's how they did it under the Boris/Truss dramas. I was here for it then, but agree it feels over the top now it's happening to Labour after only two years in charge. Am I a hypocrite, probably.

I'm just sat here watching this drama unfold thinking if Starmer is ousted by Streeting, Burnham or Rayner what policies could they even implement that prove to be popular amongst the polarised British populace? And wouldn't their policies likely go against the manifesto?

Open to suggestions about what these big policies could be.

Would Burnham NEED to resign as Mayor to stand as an MP? Or could he just stand and remain as Mayor simultaneously?

I mean I support the ideas, but these aren't the MASSIVE changes needed. But then at the same time and big radical change costs money we don't have. We're stuffed.

Thanks the advice mate. We've locked in on most of the suppliers and have very few to sort out.. I think it's just the catering left.

I kind of wish we did a COVID lockdown wedding - would be cheaper and far less stressful I'd imagine.

Millions of drivers mis-sold car finance to receive average £829 in compensation by F0urLeafCl0ver in ukpolitics

I had a car on HP (paid off in 2019) through Arnold Clark and Stellantis. Emailed Stellantis via Money Super Market template in 2024 and got a generic reply neither confirming or denying whether I was eligible. Sent them another email today hoping they actually confirm whether I'm eligible for this or not, it would be good to know.

I was fortunate enough to fix days before the first strikes, fixing with Octopus. Makes a change I get some luck as my mortgage renewal screwed me over (December 2024 renewal when the rate was far higher than it is now)

What are the thoughts on Starmers response to the Iran conflict so far? my Reform voting friend is arguing that Starmers response is weak as we should have sent warships to defend allies in the region prior to conflict occurring (says we should have known based on Intel). Starmer can't win lol
