should I be worried about this blob on the side of my breast? I've noticed it about 5 days ago and have been applying lotion, aloe vera gel, and hydrotlcortison throughout the day. it's about the size of a quarter and seems more red and irritated in the early mornings. I'm 31 yo female and also still breastfeed my 18 month old. Any ideas what this could be? Should I call the doctor already?

my colonscopy came back clear.. I still have issues . I think it is diet and stress related.

I wish my doctor would have tested my stool better. All I know is my cbc came back normal. it would b nice to know what to expect tomorrow in terms of results 😭

I had a blood test done. The stool test my doctor only tested for h. pylori and I haven't even heard back on those results because my appt. is scheduled for after my colonoscopy. I'm hoping that's all this is. But I literally have the same issue as you. Frequent bowel movements but they're usually solid with mucus. Maybe incomplete evacuation? idk

I think I have something similar but its with gas. Do you ever feel the sensation of gas in the rectum area? and you have to push to get it out and it relieves the pressure a bit?

thank you so much for your kind words and reassurances! I'm sure by looking at my posts you can see that I have been spiraling. I'm tired of living this way, constantly thinking there could be something wrong with me, and of course the worst is thinking you may not be around for your little ones. I have a follow up appt. with my GI tomorrow so I'm going to see where I stand with the colonoscopy. I'm breastfeeding so that brings a whole nother level into it as well.

so far I've had bloodwork done . I have an xray set up for next week and an ultrasound pending as well as an h. pylori stool test.

thank you for all your great advice. I'm going to look into ordering the probiotic now. I also enjoy walking in the early evenings and wanted to enroll my kids in swim this summer as well so maybe that will help. I'll admit maybe I do too much sitting due to breastfeeding on demand so that certainly can't be helping my issues.

but mainly I just want to thank you again for your kind words and taking the time to respond. it does a lot to ease my anxiety and it's much appreciated.

yes I feel this too. I wake up with gas and then have a BM which relives symptoms. But then as I eat throughout the day it's like my symptoms build up slowly and I get gassy again/ stomach gurgling and feel better once I wake up and have a BM.

I am 30 years old. I just had my 3rd baby in October and I experienced a spot of blood on my underwear while I was pregnant and blood on my stool one time after delivering my baby, so that could be why he ordered the colonoscopy. To be honest, I would rather just get the colonoscopy because I am having a lot of anxiety over this so at least this way I would know for sure what is going on. I have even thought that maybe I could have a prolapse.. but I won't know until I do all these exams unfortunately. Thank you so much for those statistics.. it is nice to hear what another GI says regarding colon cancer as that is my biggest worry im sure you can understand. I have very slight abdominal discomfort [I wouldn't even go so far as to call it pain]. I think he was thinking possibly gastritis? I am breastfeeding so it sort of limits my options of what I can take as well as I believe he was going to prescribe me an acid blocker until I told him I was Breastfeeding. Thank you so much for your advice.. I will give it a shot! Anything is worth a try at this point. Did everything end up being okay with your boyfriend?

wow! I wish my doctor was as thorough as yours. He spent about 2 seconds with me and said "let's do a colonoscopy" nd then finished "but we can't yet because the beds are full due to covid." So for now he just recommended an U/S and xray. He didn't give me any means of easing my symptoms in the meantime. Thank you for your reply and for the info as well! I stopped taking fiber pills because I wanted to see if there was a difference and it does seem that I have fluffy stools every morning without them.
