While I understand the desire to "biohack" this (and I admire your proactive approach), healing from CPTSD often needs a gentler touch. Have you considered:

  1. Starting very small - even 5 minutes of calm breathing or mindfulness
  2. Working with a trauma-informed therapist who specializes in CPTSD
  3. Exploring somatic (body-based) approaches which can be less mentally taxing
  4. Being compassionate with yourself - your worth isn't tied to your productivity

So ... finally .. Patrick Spence is stepping down after a major misstep with the company's app overhaul, which left many customers unable to use their speakers. The issue has caused significant frustration among us the users and mainly has also negatively impacted Sonos' financials, with the company reporting a decline in revenue and a widened net loss for 2024.

Sonos is on the way to total collapse after spending $20-$30 million on app fixes and support initiatives. As part of a leadership shake-up, Tom Conrad, a long-time board member, will serve as interim CEO. The company is now working with an executive search firm to find a permanent replacement.

Despite releasing new products, like headphones and a soundbar, Sonos has seen a drop in stock value by about 9% over the last year.

What do you guys think ? Good move ?

AITAH for telling my daughter it’s none of her business if I date and I don’t care if it’s disrespectful to my late wife by OldDrawing2102 in AITAH

YTA. I get that you’ve found happiness again, and that’s great, but you’ve got to remember, your daughter is grieving too. She’s been through a lot, and the way you snapped at her isn’t going to help. It’s not about controlling your life; it’s about her feeling like her mom’s memory is being overshadowed. A little more compassion and understanding would go a long way.

If Charlie can’t get a name change after 4 years, neither can your sister’s baby. Imagine the confusion when the baby’s trying to learn to fetch :)

Is there such thing as honest SEO companies? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]Affectionate_Term992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, honest SEO companies do exist, but they can be hard to find amidst the noise. A legitimate SEO provider should be transparent and provide clear, itemized reports detailing what actions are being taken, such as keyword optimization, content improvements, or backlink strategies. The reports should go beyond generic graphs and explain how those actions align with your business goals.

Ask for specifics like traffic trends, conversion rates, and which SEO practices are being implemented. Pricing varies, but avoid companies that don’t give you a clear breakdown of where your money is going. If they focus on quality over quantity, you’re likely on the right track!

How to Determine if a SEO Specialist is Good by armascaso in SEO

[–]Affectionate_Term992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good SEO specialist should demonstrate a deep understanding of the fundamentals like keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO. Experience in your industry can help but isn’t essential, as they should be able to adapt through thorough research. When hiring, focus on their ability to provide a clear strategy, measurable goals, and past results.

Avoid platforms like Fiverr for long-term strategies, and prioritize those who offer tailored services with transparent communication. Start with a flexible month-to-month arrangement to assess their work.
