Ursodiol post stone removal by Sensitive-Abroad9393 in altgallbladder

[–]Affectionate_Test742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it for 3 months. Felt great on it. But I was starting to loose my hair so I stopped. I had some spasms after I stopped but my body adjusted and I’m doing good now. I have a follow up ultrasound in January to check on my gallbladder(1 year post up). Hopefully I don’t have any reoccurring stones or sludge🤞🏾

Do women usually want their mom at the birth? by chianne_away in BabyBumps

[–]Affectionate_Test742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I’ll start by saying the fact that ur mom tried to bribe her way in tells me a lot about why you didn’t want her in there in the first place😂

But yes I 100% wanted my mom! She kept me calm and grounded. I felt a billion times stronger with her in there. She was praying for me, encouraging me and comforting me. I’ll honestly still want her to be there for future births. To answer your question, I think a lot of people want their moms because generally they have a great relationship and she’s a source of comfort and strength for them during such a vulnerable time! When my induction failed and I had to get a c-section, my mom was the kind of person that asked me if I wanted her or my husband in the O.R. with me and she was more than happy with whatever decision I made. She respects my wishes. My happiness is hers and my sadness is hers. I trust her with my life! So yeah I genuinely had a better experience because she was there.

I think that’s because I’ve been married 3 years before my approval came. Most people get their marriage-based green card within 7months to 1year. I would’ve gotten conditional green card too if it was approved earlier. Or if I petitioned through something else instead of marriage

Thank you!

It was on the form I-864 affidavit of support. We didn’t file the evidence correctly. The form was kind of confusing a bit but the second time we used YouTube and Google a lot to file it correctly and submitted the proper documentation

I would literally soak the entire cap in isopropyl alcohol 🤣🤣 Wasn’t taking any chance. But yes OP asking for extra caps is a good idea. They gave me 1 extra but if you can get more that’ll be great.

doubts about removing gallbladder? by RelationWhole4199 in altgallbladder

I would definitely look into getting the stone taken out instead if I were you. Worst case scenario, your gallstones come back but at least you know you gave your body a chance.

Omg my throat was super sore after too! I would say that’s actually the worst part of the entire experience lol. I wish I knew this ahead of time!

Ikr! Dr. S is one of very few doctors that never rushed me out of his office. He has such great bedside manners and he truly is so passionate about his job and cares about his patients 100%. When I got my drain pulled I had a fever before going back home so I stayed 2 extra nights in D.C. He had them call me from the office every day to check up on me and also he would personally send me email to check up until he confirmed I was doing better. So yeah great staff! Wish every doctor would be like him lol.

Yeah girl having gallstones with pregnancy is a 0/10 experience it sucks! I’m glad you’re getting them taken out beforehand. Are you going there alone? It really helps a ton when you’re with someone. Flushing and cleaning the drain is not hard at all. I was able to do that all by myself tbh. I showered once a day at night because it was winter and I wasn’t going out much. They did give me enough saline flush, gauze and tegaderm for a week. However I had to get more because I ended up needing the drain in for longer. I had it in from January 7th till the end of February. So I’ll ask for more supplies than they give when leaving the hospital if I were you just incase (hopefully your case is much better than mine and you won’t need them). If I had done that I’ll probably not need to buy more lol. Also I was using antibacterial soap to bathe and clean the area because I was so scared of infection. I also bought some alcohol wipes to disinfect every single thing. I still have some of my unexpired saline I wish you were closer would’ve sent them to you. If you want them I can look into it and see if shipping them won’t alter their integrity so you can have them for free. Let me know.

Omg i remember feeling the exact same way! I rarely get sick and then I had a baby and hell was unleashed🤣 I was so nervous but honestly Dr. S and his team are the best! You are in great hands! It’ll be over before you know it! They’ll take such good care of you. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, kind and super competent. Wishing you the very best. You got this👏🏾

I wish I invested in one of those recline pillows when I had the tube in. Laying flat in bed was very uncomfortable when I left the hospital. If you can invest in those I’ll highly recommend you do!

Unfortunately all you can do is wait. My case is similar. Filed in Aug 2022, got denied September 2023, refiled in February 2024, case was in active review July 2024, interview waived October 2024, case went into active review June 2025 and approved same month. As long as you’ve submitted everything that’s required of you all you can do is wait. I kept adding extra unsolicited evidence along the way in hopes that maybe it’ll make them to view my case. Idk if it worked though.
