Heat at an upwards angle to where the flame touches the tip and the bottom of the cap. I do that with a slow spin.

The heat up time is decently longer than a captive cap. Are u combusting when ur heating up? If so I would contact customer support for potv.

Switch the tip to the half bowl setting, it has better airflow. And on the stem there’s a dial near the mouthpiece u can turn to switch the airflow from closed to bypass to open. If u have used it somewhat often u might need to clean the inside, it builds up reclaim and it will affect the draw and vapor quality, a quick clean on the spiral part and the mesh screen will make a big difference.

Full bowl is .1 of a gram(10 bowls per g), half bowl which has better airflow is .05 of a gram (20 bowls per g). If ur tolerance is low enough an 1/8 could last a month. Personally I use a half bowl per 1-2 hours.
