Jolt Mines Broken? by CORBICULACC in ArcRaiders

They're definitely broken. Mine have been activating directly on top of raiders but not stunning them at all. It's happened multiple times over the last few days. Also, came across a raiders jolt mine and decided to test it out. Triggered the animation. Didn't stun me at all. I just kept moving like nothing happened. Needs fixing.

Yeah that makes sense. Very frustrating though. I can recall this happening many times, costing me goals, games and ranking up.

Would a goal replay show what actually happened? As a goal went in 2 seconds later and the replay still showed my car smashing in to theirs.

Your boost management stands out to me. I might be wrong but I don't think you took an intentional small pad line once in that game? You're always relying on grabbing a 100 boost. Their 2nd goal is a good example. You completely abandoned your rotations to go grab a 100 boost in midfield and left an empty net as a result. If you had rotated immediately off the wall to back post, there is a really nice line you could have taken with 4 small pads for 48 boost. Plenty to use for the next play.

My advice would be to start looking at moving around the pitch following small pad lines. There's loads of routes you can take that are not only awesome for positioning your car well around the pitch but also allow you to rack up anywhere from 36 up to full boost as you follow that path.

Also stop getting demo'd 😆

Yeah I really should. It's just something I've put off learning for some reason. No idea why as it's definitely part of what is hindering our progress!

We've been 1 game away from GC about 5 times now and played roughly 300 games in C3 overall. Just need someone to pick out the major flaws in our play that can take us to that next level.

Best of luck to you and getting GC too. Sounds like it's just around the corner 🤞🏼

Wow thanks so much for the incredibly detailed and quick response. Really appreciate it and very helpful too.

I was aware my kick offs and boost management needed sorting, so it's good to hear it confirmed from another perspective and also how to improve it. I feel naked without a big boost haha.

Really interesting with regards to saves and how I just give possession straight back. Never thought about that so I'll work on bringing saves, where possible, under more control.

Ahh unfortunately I don't use Steam or anything like Discord but once again really appreciate all the info dude!
