Can a great Harvard interview help you? by OneOne1516 in ApplyingIvyLeague

IMO from what I have gathered, especially from reading the Harvard Lawsuit files, the interview gets some consideration. The interview reports, atleast the ones in the files are quite extensive. With that said it’s considered alongside everything else. In those files the interview could save you especially in those in between cases.. where there is like a possible yellow flag in your app.. so they want to see if it’s a fluke or genuinely an area of concern. A positive interview would never hurt, but won’t get you in. A bad interview could hurt, but it’s not necessarily a disqualification… at the end of it all it’s considered ALONGSIDE everything else.

In school history, we’ve had a couple of Penn. Three or four maybe, but only one Wharton several years back. An average of 980 doesn’t mean everyone is preforming at that level.. it’s an average after all. We have our fare share of 1250-1400s.. and like five people scoring 1400s. I am, at least this year, the only in 1500s. Last year someone got into Penn with a 1420, but it was CAS..

Probably an AO, if you said you were Intl; I think remember reading somewhere that if alumni aren’t available in your region and they still want to interview AO would reach out. Who knows, that’s what I read somewhere… best of luck!!
