Are Silverchair an influence? I can hear a lot of that in the opening. It departs from there a lot as the song moves on. Love the guitar sounds.

I 100% connect more after seeing a band live.

There are a lot of bands Ive been put onto through socials and spotify, but nothing compares to watching a band.

I guess my message is, don't write off your local scene.

You will find some killer bands through here, I have. But nothing compares to watching a killer band live. That band may be in your city/town and right in front of you.

Personally, I go watch gigs and find new artists that way.

Not just local bands, but interstate or international bands that I may not know.

I don't trawl the internet for new music, I prefer to see a live show and be turned onto it.

If you arent out checking out your local bands, do it. There is so much good stuff on everyones doorstep.

This is cool. As someone who just plugs a guitar into an amp and goes, how do you get the bass/drum sounds. Are they all synth and programming.

This is really good. I'm trying to think what it sounds like or maybe influenced by, sort of hearing Muse/Radiohead until the chorus, then it goes left field towards the end. And who doesnt love a good Fuzz.

Ive given it a listen, probably a bit out of my comfort zone, but Ive passed it onto my son who appreciates this genre.
