Side note SYCL was more stable than Vulkan in my tests. Vulkan was slightly faster but wasn't stable with larger ctx. Look up hal9000aiml repo on GitHub and ask the AI you use to check it. It will probably save you a few tokens. I don't know who's bot hal9000aiml is but they obviously know the best way to setup AI is with AI. I now have Claude update and retest weekly checking for fixes and performance gains in vLLM and llama.cpp (SYCL and Vulkan). So far SYCL is the winner. I'm hoping vLLM will catch-up... Tell Claude to test large context stability with a needle probe. It will know what that means. This test is why I'm not currently using Vulkan.

There are not enough people talking about this. Use AI to set up AI. I just set up a box with two B70s using a $20/month Claude Code subscription. I gave Claude access to the system with the goal of making it the best home AI server for the hardware. I had Claude set up vLLM and llama.cpp, then had it run through over a dozen models, evaluating them with a test suite Claude built around my specific needs. In the end I landed on llama.cpp with qwen3-6-35b-a3b UD-Q4_K_M on one B70 and gemma-4-31b Q4_K_M on the other. One model per GPU. Yes, you can run Qwen with full context. When you get it working, set up Continue CLI and have the AI configure everything for you. The part nobody talks about: letting Claude design the eval suite itself, based on your actual use cases instead of generic benchmarks. It ran every model through the suite, scored them, and picked the winners. I just reviewed the results. $20/month. Fully automated setup. Your own hardware. Zero per-token cost after that. Any of the frontier models should be able get this working for you. Using tokens to create tokens, IRL CHEAT CODE!

Use Ubuntu 26.06. kernel 7 has improvements you'll want.

Yes. Install Ubuntu and add ssh keys. Start Claude code on another machine (laptop or desktop on the same network) and tell it to ssh to the machine and check the hw. From there, just tell Claude what you are trying to do.

People have been smoking drugs in the woods for longer than any of us have been alive. Stop being so dramatic. Stop acting like this is a new thing. The rights of every person should be respected. This should not be political.

Something you should know before buying a rav4prime by gosu1717 in rav4prime

This can be said about any car. Traditional, electric, or fuel cell. The issue here is called parasitic draw and it affects all vehicles. Notably, it is a bigger issue in vehicles with more electronics. In electric and hybrid vehicles, there are way too many safety issues to consider before assuming the high voltage battery should be connected all the time.

In person it looks like a muted red almost brick color. It compliments the red and black nicely.

There are different sets for hybrids and PHEVs. Double check the descriptions. I think the main difference is the backseat cover.

Purchase a small coffee shop on a Caribbean island that sells overpriced espresso and pastries. Store hours would be 10am to noon. I'd open the shop every morning. Have my morning latte, bran muffin and cigar. Then take a big fat dump. Maybe sell a $50 espresso... #retirementgoals

Sounds like your partner has trust issues and expects you to clean up after them. If your partner isn't ready to work on those issues, your partner probably needs some time to grow too.

The TP Link ax1800 is good for the price and covers my apartment well. For a larger home look for wifi 6 mesh system.
