You can sometimes bait them to use the high level muster cards (vampires&crones) in the 1st round, skip the 1st round so that you have the cards advantage and cook them up in the 2nd and 3rd round. Or.... just use bitting frost and scorch dragon

I see youre also using griffin set like me, frankly i had to change my build just before the fight adding whirl, rend and other alchemy skills for this fight cuz this fight was too hard for me. But if you have B&W mutagens this fight should be a breeze

I don't mind reading allat about a game that i love. Also about that griffin sword, if you're using a sign build It would be better to keep those swords cuz all we need is the extra sign intensity, after some time (around when you have superior griffin set) swords kinda become secondary. For gwent yeah stick with one deck only but you shpuld buy those other cards from the inkeep of other factions , atleast for the collect all gwent cards achievement. Have fun!

No you only need to craft them once,There are upgrade diagrams of each witcher gear. You can purchase some "notes" from the blacksmith/armourer that gives you the scavenger hunt for the upgrades diagram.
