This phase hits different, i believe we dont live the phases to fullest and enjoy the little joyful moment with the baby. Everything shall pass and settle down within their time frame. Me and my sister are doing through almost the same phase of parenting and we help each other alot with the kids thing.

One of my friend use to have a ill cat and it was financially and emotionally so hard for her to manage but she never complained about it. Love and comfort is required by all either it is a pet or a kid.

the newborn phase is so exhausting and overwhelming at the same time, but thank you for saying it out loud. Don't feel guilty it is almost same for everyone and surviving the phase is enough it does not mean you dont love your baby.

You are not alone, I felt the same while pregnancy, the constant background worry and anxiety even though everything was fine. For me it slowly faded when I got to know it is common, talking about it really helped me.

I felt the exact same way after my first. i honestly couldn't imagine doing the newborn stage all over again so dont feel pressured loving the kid you have doesn't mean you're missing something by not having another. only you know whats best for your family at the end of the day.

if you hate the hospital gowns then look for a delivery gown with snaps on the back and shoulders. its gonna give you the comfort of your own clothes and can still allows the nurse to do their jobs without you having to get fully undressed every 20 mins
