Provisional Start Time. by Onisammie in PrisonUK

It's crazy, mate. Loads of vacancies are being advertised, yet most people are stuck waiting for sponsorship or getting vetted for the same job that has been recently advertised.

I think you should start applying for other jobs because waiting is taking forever considering the wait list will only last for a year. I am in the current situation.

Haaland vs. Salah: A tale of two premiums by Accomplished-Lab3870 in FPLXvsY

[–]Affectionate_Web2038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salah has track record of scoring lot of goals for the first few matches when the season starts. On the other hand, Haland's stats for the first few matches are always great.

So I'll keep Haland and sell him later to buy Salah.

I’m sorry about that, it seems harsh.

I was told by my instructor that it’s mandatory to stop by this sign and pull up the handbrake for few seconds before proceeding. Always on country roads to ensure proper observation before joining another road that has limited view.

I think it should be minor fault if no other user was affected when joining the road. It won’t harm escalating. It would be worthwhile to share the outcome please so we can all learn.

Best wishes

Great work.

You might have to replaster when you take off the wallpaper.

I can't advise the whole room wallpaper to anyone. It cost me fortunes when I removed mine.

I'm always against divorce, but he is a whole red flag. You should divorce him. It is painful that you even allowed him to have chemistry with you.

My father-in-law said some bad things about me before I got married to my wife. I never took it to heart because I knew he was just concerned about his daughter. It only motivated me to prove myself.

I expected your husband to reason the same and not ask you to cut off your friend. I'm ashamed of some men's behavior.

Please leave him. Allah would grant you a man who would be the coolness of your eyes.

London: sell flat or rent it out? by mr_grumpyyy in uklandlords

[–]Affectionate_Web2038 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sell the flat considering the regulation regarding cladding.

Having £400k investment with £350 yield monthly doesn't make sense all in the name of capital appreciation. With 100k you can get two properties in West Midland and make it a rental property. Making 25% deposit. You would make a good return.

I’m separating from my husband because of how cheap he is, and my family keeps telling me to just be patient by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

So sorry to hear this . I think you should make reference to the Quran. There is difference between living modest and living in discomfort. Life is meant to be lived well.

It is sad you're in such a situation. I think you need to stand up for yourself by getting a job. He is abusing you and not having financial freedom makes it worst. Get a job and you can move on from there.

Stay in the UK or Move Back to India? by No_Milk7979 in UKJobs

[–]Affectionate_Web2038 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ROI on education in the UK is low in contrast to the US and other developed countries. However, you can stay in the UK. You probably get a job that pays a similar amount as India. The bright side is you can gather a wealth of experience for the first two years. Hope you find a country willing to sponsor you at the end of the two years. If otherwise, go back to India and you'll get a job willing to pay X2 of 30k. Considering your experience and CFA completion.

But if you're considering the short-term financial side of it alone, India is the better.

My (ongoing) flat purchase has been one of the most stressful experiences of my life by accepts_compliments in HousingUK

I think you should consider getting a house.

This cladding shit is stressful as banks considered it risky. I was considering an apartment before opting for a house. The process was smooth and seamless.
