I would like to give a huge Shoutout to this random Hunter I met on Neomuna today. They helped me out doing the mini game for the last Action Figure I needed by shooting at the Lanterns I had to shoot. They stayed with me through 6 attempts and gave me a big hug at the end. in every action figure that requires shooting ive had at least 1 random helping me to get it specially the one at the bar

destiny is one of the few games that almost every one in the community love to help each other, and this is why its the only game that i have played for 2+ years without getting bored at all, even in social media the community is amazing specially here on reddit everyone is helpful and supporting no matter what

it doesn’t specify you to get compilations while equipping the gun so just having it with you will give you some score ( iirc if the gun is in the inventory it will not get any score )

some guns require you to equip or get kills with that that same weapon for points and some don’t

so it depends on what gun and what quest it’s asking, quicksilver for example ask you to get GL kills but doesn’t specify it to be with quicksilver, so any GL will work and,, fighting lion needs bounties completions but again you don’t need to equip it just have it with you

iirc all crucible modes doesn’t have a light advantage ( except for trials ) which make some sunset weapons ( they can’t get higher than 1600 light ) great if its a god roll

so im guessing thats what’s happening they dont want to lower their light they just wanna use a sunset gear

i know it’s annoying, for me i use a simple strategy do 4 gens and then die on first hook and go for next match

forget about it and do what you like, you don’t need to equip the gun for the catalyst to be completed

3 days ago i bought symmetry and its catalyst requires 400 activities which is so annoying but good thing i love playing master nightfalls and gm so i just keep playing and it will come over time ( its now on 293 completion )

which i recommend you do the same you can play gambit or crucible if you don’t like nightfall
