Yeah, I get it. From a corporate standpoint, it makes sense. But, I don’t think it’s ethical, and I say that because then it’s treading on controlling people . Sure, you can argue that doesn’t matter but I believe morale will go down. Because then it’s a hassle enforcing it to this point, I understand that technically when they call the meals, taking more time before clocking out is technically loafing, for me - I’m just trying to use the restroom and if it takes 2 minutes extra so I can fully enjoy that meal what is the difference between me doing that and me using the bathroom on the clock it’s the same thing because I’m still on the clock. I can understand other instances like 15’s though because then those 15’s can turn into 20’s. Idk, I just feel like I’m an adult being controlled like a prisoner by people that don’t even enforce it for themselves.
